If every state in Nigeria had one functioning agro-based industry/firm/factory, we would be on a path as a country toward diversification of the economy. Kudos to Willie. I hope he has the will to sustain this

I never said Anambra is not fertile, I just made it clear to another poster who insinuated that the area is baren by stating even if they can't grow rice they can always buy and bag the rice

Southeast governor are busy investing their states funds in meaningful development projects,while their counterparts from south west are busy investing in media whitewash.

It is good news in the short term. However, what is going to happen after the governor is gone? We should not kid ourselves about not knowing how our politicians work. Give me one government agency that is effectively managed in this country.

I like the idea but I don't understand why the governor should be the one building a rice mill with public funds, something some wealthy business men would gladly venture into if they consider the benefits offered by the government.

Anambra government would not only save money for essential services, but also have a rice mill which will generate employment for its youth

If all governors could think lik dis.. nobody will go afte d FG... some people don't even know d name of thier state govr but they can come hia and criticise PMB..
