Grammy isn't a fan of rap music. If you wanna talk music, rap is at the lowest level. Very few rappers have a message to send with their music....

I beg to disagree. Rap is in no way shallow, and the likes of J Cole, Nas and K.dot should be on that list. They send messages. wink

Am a fan of both but I think Olamide did worse. Must kesh win that award? Are there no other nominees in that category that has sponsors to fight for them? Why is he(Olamide) trying to make it a do of die thing?

The winner of that award emerge by votes, and rekado carried the highest number. If he wasn't really comfortable with the result, why not Honourably walk out of the venue like burnaboy did the other time? Has his attitude changed rekado from being the winner?
If Adekunle gold could win an award over Asa, then why the fuss about rekado/kesh?

Some said olamide did not mention donjazzy's name, I want to know if he mentioned the organizers name also to clear the air he wasn't angry at Mavin? Anybody between donjazzy and the headies organizers can pick offence from his action. I still rep ybnl though.

Don Jazzy crossed the line with his "egbon olamide you can have the car" statement. I don't believe the verdict was by vote, the nature of the winners shows it is decided by the headies board and subject to fraudulent decisions.

The history of the headies does not lie.

I hope Don Jazzy resolves this quickly cause either ways it ain't looking good for him and Mavin, he can expect Dbanj to hit back soon too with the way he disrespected him.

The streets have heard of the ban from mainland and would enforce that shit hard too

Reekado didn't win the Award by vote, with which song? that Award was bought for him. 2015 9ja jamz was killed between Lil Kesh and Kiss Daniel. One of the two should be holding the Award.
