There are about 170 million people living in Nigeria out of which at least 80 million by the most conservative estimates are christians. Common sense , you wont have . THere are 2.4 billion CHristians and half of them are Catholics ! The other 1.2 billion are in other churches in the US , Canada , UK , Russia . There are more than 70 percent of christians who are Catholics in Nigeria

Sir, Nigeria is a failed state because of the bad decisions we take born out of the greedy and selfish desires of our hearts, the lust that breeds from our corrupted mind and the pride that comes with selfishness. We only consider morals when it feels right, what everyone is doing seems to be right irrespective of who bests the grave consequences.

Which holy spirit directs the christians to interpret the bible differently? Just follow the debates btw christians here, you will see two sincere chritsians disagree on different issues and both of them always lay claim to the holy spirit as their guide or source of interpretation. Why is the holy spirit sending different messages to different people? If there is anything like the holy spirit then there will be one universally accepted christian message or doctrine. Very sincere believers often disagree and all of them lay claim to the holy spirit. The answer and reason to that to me is obvious.

Honestly I get your point, there is a lot of controversy in the Christendom today due to the various doctrines and interpretations we have today. But you can't attribute that to be the fault of the almighty God or his holy spirit. Are you saying that the holy spirit is a confused messenger or what? The path of truth i was referring to is Jesus Christ through the guidance of the holy spirit by reading the bible and If you check my post you will see that I was talking about reading the bible and never mentioned any church as the path of truth bro.

Sweertie, your story is like mine. It was when I left home for school that I got to know about other faiths.
The Word is the best place to start. I remember when I started reading the Bible, It was like I just discovered a treasure which If I don't do something urgent about it, it will be taken away from me. I remember staying awake most nights till 2am reading the Bible with a candle. I was so hungry.

Until she makes a decision to leave that path, she'll always continue that way no matter the number of times she changes church.
