Nupes were historically based in North central. Being the major tribe in Niger state, and Important minorities in Kogi and Kwara.
The town jebba was named by the nupes to mean "a place where river flows". Nupes have been co-existing with the Yorubas and Gwari ralatively peacefully, though disagreement (which is inevitable) do occur ocassioned with violence which cannot be heaped on a tribe (nupe) alone.
Fulanis being namdic does not mean they are also not settlers. the Emir of Ilorin is of Fulani ancestry.

I am Nupe by tribe, true. but that does not have a profound effect on my objectivity, and I have lived among yorubas for over 15 years.

Important Minority in this context means that they have a say to a considerable extent on matters affecting them. Being amd important minority means that you are more influential than other minority tribe in Nigeria.
Angas and Efik are both minorities, but whoch do you feel would have more say in matters of national importance. this is to show you why it was being used. Tsaragi is a town in EDU L.G.A while Share is a town in Ifelodun L.G.A yet only a tarred road is seperating them. Tsaragi would want to be joined with the Nupes present in other state at any time. fact!!!

To your adage, it is criminal to knowingly count the property of others as yours, when you are not the owner. Amd yes the Owner is right to demand his fowl, and the (criminal) landlord is expected to return it.

The two communities are almost like one considering the geography of. The question is how come Share people are surrounded by Nupe communities all around. Before one gets to Share, a Nupe community, Kange is there. A foot out of Share and you are in Tsaragi. After Tsaragi are numerous Nupe communities also without a single Yoruba community. Tsaragi is not in Ifelodun LG but Edu LG
