The last may not have been heard of how funds were disbursed into the bank accounts of some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The latest report is that of former Board of Trustees (BOT) chair Tony Anenih who has written to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), explaining how he disbursed the N260 million paid into his bank account from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA). The anti-graft agency is investigating this as it believes the N260million came from the misappropriated $2.1 billion arms funds.

According to the letter Anenih wrote to the EFCC, he said he gave N63 million to a group coordinated by a former Special Assistant to former President Shehu Shagari (National Assembly Liaison), Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, for the 2015 presidential election. The Edo-born elder statesman however noted in the letter that he didn’t benefit from the money, but only shared it as he was instructed to. Anenih's letter is coming less than 24 hours after PDP National Publicity Secretary Olisa Metuh was grilled for 9 hours and has been detained over an alleged N1.4billion traced to a company in which he has a stake.

A prison should be named after dasuki.,called dasuki prison, & each room named after each yam eater. I like the sound of room-fortunato.

This man should have retired long ago from active politics.
Since 90s to now.
In his old age, he'll start writing statement and fretting.
Some people don't seem to know how to enjoy their "wealth"

No wonder that old man, Tanko Yakassai keeps spewing shiit about Buhari during the election. EFCC should please do quick and arrest him.

Beside, Anenih only explained how he shared N63million, what happened to the remaining N197million? Bunch of corrupt and greedy old men. All of them must must prosecuted and jailed for a long time

'Mr fix it' we are not interested on how you disburse the money but how we will recover our money and those involved in the unwholesome act of sabotage pay for their sharp practices.

Anenih's tory is not different from the explanation of an apprehended common thief who tried to justify his stealing on the barefaced poverty troubling his family.

My conclusion is that these men are culpable including Jonathan, if not how do you rationalize the receipt of fund for a political party campaign from the office of the National Security Adviser?
Witch hunting criers make una use una brain reason the matter.

Mr Fix it!

Instead of writing letter to the EFCC on how the money was disbursed, why not write letters to the people you disbursed the money to and mandate them to return the money given to them?

Jonathan should not be allowed to go scot free!! cool

The crux of this matter is that, Hero used funds meant to secure lives & properties of average Nigerians to induce voters to give him a 2nd term that he didn't deserve!!

EoD!!

*modified*... Omenka, maybe the plan is to punish the folks who carried Jonathan's instructions severely in order to act as deterrent to others since he is "untouchable" angry

He will get served, Karma will serve him COLD. .

But for the stories we got from this same source regarding Metuh yesterday, I would have completely doubted this story.

Whatever it is, this old grisly fox sure had a piece of the bounty. I can hardly wait for the day each one of them is sent on mental rehabilitation in kirikiri.

Nigerians must be made to understand the dire consequences of stealing and "corruption". The goats must be forced to return to their natural culinary preference which is grass and leave our yams the hell alone.

I doubt Jonathan would do time but pretty much believe he'd forfeit some properties. I'm not sure we've attained that level of sociopolitical sophistication as a people to maintain order upon the arrest and incarceration of an immediate past president.

By the way, mentioning Jonathan reminds me of what transpired between a PDP supporter and I here a couple of days ago. Dude prayed that "may God handle your life the way Buhari is handling Nigeria" and asked that I said amen if I'm not a hypocrite- I typed "AMEN" in bold caps!!

Then I threw the same prayer at him substituting Baba's name with Jonathan's and asked dude to say an amen- dude is yet to respond to this minute!!!!

That is PDP and her supporters for u.

But none of these disbursements happened without his express approval, all these dokpesi, dasuki, anenih them saw an easy mark & took him for ALL they could --albeit, was not even his/ that 21b PDP claimed to have raised never existed, it was all smokes & mirrors!!

The only reason our bros from SE are holding brief for Jonathan is cos the funds wasn't meant for them, how I wish it could have been that earmarked for 2NB & East West road, sure they would have dropped their apathetic stand!!!

Omenka, have you noticed that the nos screaming Hero of their time has greatly diminished!

Hero of supervised mass murder of our military & civilians!
