I could care less if he was gay, he doesnt have to deny it, just say you are bi or gay thats enough instead of boosting your confidence

I respect peoples choices and I never try to convert anyone, the problem is the average Nigerian assumes something is psychologically wrong with anyone who does not believe what they believe. And there is also fear of retribution for being in relationship with people like me.
Honestly every lady I have dated find it hard to totally let go. They still hang around, but marriage is off the table.

Well, I am also not religious. But I believe in God and Jesus but I dont just do Nigerian churches , cus I am tired of them. My girl knows about this, she complains but I make her to see reasons why I dont just do church anymore. But I believe in God almighty and Jesus his one and only begotten son.

Well this is what I think.
Females that are freethinkers would most likely get guys easily. Someone like me will pronto want to be a friend to a lady like that, but it does not guarantee being close or anything cos relationship is beyond religious inclination.
Then she is in danger of having randy guys pretend to be interested in her. There are many guys that see such girls as cheap lays because they feel such a girl does not have a spiritual conviction.
This leads to guys not taking such as a serious marriage prospect.
I have a friend that got married last year, he is a freethinker, but eventually turned religious towards the time of his wedding.
That is nigerians for you. We want that "god fearing" girl for marriage (selfish) majorly to prevent divorce or she being too independent.
Nigerian men want women they can put in their place. Religion gives men this control. So that is why marriage may not be in view with even a nigerian freethinker man.
But there are those of us that are 100% irreligious. We don't give a damn. Will never do anything because of what society demands.

My freethinker friend wants his christain parents to be at his church wedding with their church all in support. He had a naming ceremony not long ago, want all the support from family (christains) etc.
He has settled for the usual life most nigerians live.
But then there are those who dare to be different.
I am writing a movie script for a series, which I am only able to do cos I am not religious, becaus the movie would be regarded as blasphemous when out.

In the end, the ball is in her court. Is she ready to compromise for the guy?
Is she willing to embrace religion at occasions that demands it?
Or is she going to be absolute?

Live life to the fullest. Get that man that is crazy like u (like many of us *smiles*).
And die happy with no regrets of stuff you wld have done with your life.

I wish I was never a christain. I wasted 24 years of my life serving nothing. Holding back my potentials so I could please god.
I regret nothing more. But now I won't hold back.
