i applied for canada student visa in lagos on oct 19,2015 and i was called for medicals on nov5 and on Jan 6,2016 my tracking has changed to my processed passport have been discharged from ghana to CVAC in lagos but i have not yet received any email whatsoever,does it mean i have been approved or denied?

Looks like I am on overdosed with Chilling Pills, 8weeks without any update, I check for update everyday, everytime I am free, I spend my free time checking for update, 8weeks of ones life seating on the fence because this is stalling plenty of discussions.

God help me with this plenty of pressure.

I submitted November 10th, no medical call yet. We can take chilling pills for stuff handled by other countries, but if it was to be a Nigerian organisation we for don over rant.

Wish TRV Applicants a success.

Mine was November 10th, No medical call up till now.

this is my second time of applying tho,with the kind of news i have been hearing lately about people getting denied after medicals is really alarming and scary..mehn i don too pray and fast,i am scared tho but i am just staying positive and believing GOD will do it and it will be approved..ITS WELL

... You can actually get a study permit ....Not sure if it can be part time studies tho...

You can start your processing now, go and get your passport first. I will advice you to read this thread from the beginning.
Browse through schools in Canada that offers your proposed course. Peace.

Guy, apply for 2016 january? Late, apply for 2017 January? Too early. Can you just go into details of what you want, get your passport first, have copy o your transcript get you ATM card then apply for your course, use Google search, you be copper now, and I belive you ar using android or BlackBerry phone.. kiss

@adesbaba its never too early.if canada visa office delay you which most of us are suffering now you ll now understand the earliest not evn earlier again,the better

He is not applying for VISA, he is applying for ADMISSION, any admission that will be open now will be for MAY and SEPTEMBER unless wait list, please correct me if am wrong,

I think you can use a sponsor and self sponsor, provided you are financially capable.

It depends on your tuition fee, room and board and other fee you want to pay. But specifically you need to know what your sponsor will pay for and from there you can determine your own financial aspect. My little knowledge I hope this answer your question. Let's hear what other people will say.

It probably means an officer is working on your application but no decision has been made. Wait till you receive a message that says your application has been updated and a decision has been made. Just to be very sure, go to your CIC account, click on the "check status and messages" and make sure the row that says "review of submitted document" has "no additional documents needed at this time". I had a similar experience when I applied years back.
