(2).He/She preaches and practices teachings outside the Holy book (Bible or Quran).

(3).He/She uses almost all tricks to just get money from you.

(4)He/She uses supernatural or occultic techniques in his or her prophecy.

(5).He/She has rebellious and unrepented spirit.

(6).He/She wants you to prepare sacrifices in any forms (be it white or black sacrifices)

(7).He/She speaks in demonic tongues. Bible tongues are languages which others can understand. The present tongues today are demonic tongues.

(.He/She is parading or selling holy materials(handkerchiefs, water, stones, etc) to perform miracles without fasting and prayer as the only source.

(9).He/She puts on coloured garments, hand rings, chains and other things on his or her body.

(10).He/She does all or one of the above points 1 to 9.

You are wrong, few people understood some of the Apostles when they were speaking in tongues. It is foreign languages not heavely language. The conditions are .: 1. It must be a language of certain set of people here on earth, 2. Must not be language understood by the speaker

Young man, Tongues are not understood because its like you talking "Privately" to God. Even a Pastor of a big Church(Wont mention name) was speaking in tongue and members in spirit who were able to grab what he said(Note i said in spirit), revealed he was seeking for forgiveness for the adultery he committed the saturday before the Sunday.

its not to be understood like saying "Our father who art in heaven". Thats why that pastor decided to pray in tongues because he knew what he did was shameful and he couldn't say openly "God forgive me for sleeping with my wife's sister" NO! He has to pray in a language ONLY him and GOD understands at that moment.

So in summary, concluding its demon tongue because you don't understand is just a mistake. You do not have to understand it. If you read ancient scrolls/manuscripts and collections of most of Jesus ministrations to possessed people, he spoke in foreign tongue no one understood. Please read you bible very well, tongues are language that understood but non of those around the speaker might understand it. It is called foreign language not heavely. In your example the person you said he was in spirit and understood the pastor have GIFT OF INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES is in the bible i will add refrence when day break. The problem is that, the language may be from any part of the world so it very rare to come by those who understand it, but there were testimonies even outside the bible, where somebody around the speaker testified he was speaking in his local language

A lot of people here have a zeal for God but not according to knowledge. Most of the points the op raised are basic but as with everything he had to mix it up with HERESY.
If you don't understand something doesn't make it wrong. That you don't experience it doesn't make it evil. There are 2 manifestations of speaking in tongues in the bible. The Acts2:6 you are quoting is a manifestation and 1 Corinthians 14 expantiates on it. It talks about speaking to God, no man understands him but he speaks mysteries. The Bible specifically called it angelic tongues.

I fact on that day of Pentecost, the people first thought they were drunk because they didn't understand them then much later started hearing them speak their own language. Please read your bible well and stop relying on just what your GO says and preaches.

So OP get accurate knowledge before you criticise or better still just shut it. God didn't give you that responsibility. Run your race and fight the good fight of faith.

That situation was different, Elijah went to that widow to help her as sent by God, she needed a miracle and had to act on a devinely inspired instruction to make for Elijah first, and she did and the food didnt finish and lasted her and her son throughout the famine and in most cases it doesnt happen like that, Remember Elisha healed Naaman the leprous syrian general without collecting money even though it was offered. That is why Jesus when speaking to his disciples said " freely ye have received, freely also give" Real prophets of God with the Rhema word of the Lord dont need or request for fanancial seeds before attending to you except in some few cases as inspired by devine instruction.And in some cases the genuine prophets of give to people that come to them for assistance be it material, spiritual or financial at least I have witnessed that.

Bro, I question your understanding of the bible in this regard. Please study to know not to criticize. I have tried to answer all the questions you raised but only the Holy Spirit can teach you. You see your problem with understanding this scripture is that you have a negative mindset about it. While Paul was trying to make a strong case for prophecy because it is a higher gift, he made some salient points about speaking in tongues too. Infact he said I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than ye all. Interpretation of tongues is a gift too and some people do have them.

I have explained to you earlier my brother, that there are 2 manifestations of speaking in tongues. If you have heard of the Azusa conference of 1904, there was manifestation of the 2. My brother, it is important that we run this race personally, discount what you've been told by your pastors and ask God for accurate knowledge of his word. He will grant it to you. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things.
Personally, I speak in tongues and I see the benefits everyday, the testimonies are endless. If you say someone is learning the thing or faking it, let them, the Holy Spirit can take over from there.

As much as I hate to debate on religious issues, I have to correct this.

The Bible stated it categorically that they spoke in different languages. That is like saying... Peter spoke in Aramaic, John in Latin, Phillip in Greek, Mathew in Yoruba etcetera. They didn't speak just a foreign language as stated by you but different foreign languages.

Now tell me... With what a lot of people speak today which they claim is 'speaking in tongues', would you say it's the same thing with what the Bible stated knowing fully well everyone speaks the same foreign tongue and not different as stated in the Bible?

Truth be told, more than half the number of Christians who speak in tongues today learnt it. And if you must know, some have the gift of speaking in tongues, while others have the gift of interpretation.

Note: There is no pre-defined language which is called tongues. Speaking in tongue simply means speaking in a language not originally or ordinarily understood by the speaker. The language can be Chinese, German, Ibibio, Yoruba, Efik etcetera. As long as that language is not understood by the speaker by default, then the speaker can be said to be speaking in tongue(language not known).
