parisbookaddict:What do you understand by the concept of''Our lady of Fatma?'' I tell you the truth, I saw the picture of the present pope raise up his hands like the muslims and prayed islamically. If my church does anything wrong I will point it out to them and not because am not a catholic. The Bible says we should look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith and not the church. Many church leaders have compromised the faith of the Bible. |

A deliberate sinner cannot perform miracles: John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. That was a statement emanating from the miracle of opening the eyes of a blind man in John chapter 9. The man healed told the Jews that they knew that a sinner does not and cannot do miracle. |

truthman2012:Before we continue the discussion I want to let u know that I regularly criticize some catholic doctrine. I have my bible as my go to authority and I try to get the churches standpoint on key social issues, theology etc I do know the church has a very high regard for Mary which protestants object to. Early Christians also had a very high regard for Mary. Many Christians don't know this, even some scriptures (not included in the bible) says she was born without original sin. I don't know much about Our lady of Fatma. What does it have to do with the conversation. When u say pray islamically, what exactly do u mean. Islamic pray involves several up and down movements including grasping the ears and thighs and reciting pagan verses. I haven't seen the pope do that. By the way how is Christian pray, is it by putting ur hands together, or raised up apart or dancing in joy, or quite in meditation.. Because catholics do all that depending on circumstance. which one did u see the pope do ? |

truthman2012:Thank God you spill the beans now. If sin is breaking the God's law as you said which I totally agreed with, then tell me a single verse or hadith that mentioned any God's law ever flouted by the holy prophet (saw). He's per excellence an INFALLIBLE prophet that can't even fall to error even when he's sleeping. Now, coming to your oft quoted verses of asking for forgiveness by the holy prophet (saw), is purely for un imaginable spiritual perfection. I don't know if you have read it in the book of hadith where he inkling mentioned his supposedly sin that he seek forgiveness from Allah when is thought is been interupted or cycled by satan. He considered that a sin in his humble spirit repent for that. This is similar if you don't know, what that means, what happen to Jesus Christ (as) after 40 days of fasting when satan try tempt him, a few minute cut of divine remembrance. The holy prophet is in perpetual commune with God who considered an interupt of thinhs like this a sin. Even at that, Allah has promised him such seemly 'sin' that has happened or that will happen in future, HE has forgiving him yet he cease not to be humbled before His lord. ALLAH says in the holy Quran that he (saw) has best of highest moral standard. So go do your research properly. We were told in the holy Quran that even believers after entering paradise, we still be begging for forgiveness and perfection of their light, but like you of little spiritual knowledge you will interpret from mundane angle whereas is for unceasing spiritual perfection. Peace. |

parisbookaddict:I would advise you google ''our lady of fatima'', you will discover many fables especially on wikipaedia. I have not seen the pope do more than raising up his hand in a mosque praying like the muslim as shown in a picture. Christians' prayer has no particular form, it is as led by the Spirit. You can be moved to bow down, knee down, stand up, sit down etc. A man was praying and suddenly was moved by the Holy Spirit to lie down, and in a moment his spiritual eyes were opened and saw the arrow of the enemy fly over him. In this dispensation of the Holy Spirit, God cannot be tamed to a particular style of routine prayers. The Bible says now is the time that those who worship God should do so in the Spirit and truth: John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. What does it mean to worship God in the Spirit? Listen to what the Spirit dictates to worship God in each occasion. There are times the Holy Spirit will intervene to change your prayer point because you may be praying amiss. |

LadunaI:If he didn't break any law, what sin was he asking for forgiveness? Do you go to God and say sorry for an offence you haven't committed? If he didn't break any law, what sin was allahh asking him and his FOLLOWERS to ask for forgiveness? |

parisbookaddict:See yourself, by the way how old are you? forgive me if that sounds disgusting. How can you be making baseless accusations, yet believing in your widest imagination that what you're saying is true. Am pretty sure you and your like would be first in casualties of false prophet and false christ Jesus (as) talked about, that will be held swayed through spurious miracles. Being a Catholic Christian I hope you should ask @truthman2012 why 7 books in the old testament is expunged in the Protestant Bible as apocryphal. I don't know if you're aware of this. Peace be upon you. |

MUHAMMAD PERFORMED MIRACLES Miracles of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad are a number of supernatural occurrences, which according to Islamic tradition were made by Muhammad during his lifetime. These miracles are shown either in the Qur'an or, in the vast majority of cases, in the hadith (traditions of Muhammad). Muhammad's miracles encompass a broad range, such as the multiplication of food, manifestation of water, hidden knowledge, prophesies, healing, punishment, and power over nature.[1] According to historian Denis Gril, the Qur'an does not overtly describe Muhammad performing miracles, and the supreme miracle of Muhammad is finally identified with the Qur'an itself.[2] However, several miracles are reported in the Quran and miracles "appear early and often in the hadith"[3] and the hadiths are indispensable in elucidating Muhammad's miracles. [4] LIST OF MIRACLES Quran - considered by Muslims to be Muhammad's greatest miracle[5][6][7] and a miracle for all times, unlike the miracles of other prophets, which were confined to being witnessed in their own lifetimes.[8] Splitting of the moon Isra and Mi'raj (Night Journey) On several occasions he provided food and water supernaturally.[12] He comforted a palm tree that was crying and upset after he stopped leaning on it during his sermons.[12] He caused two trees to move at his command.[12] Prophecies made by him. His migration from Mecca to Medina.[13] He quenched the thirst of thousands of his soldiers during the Battle of Tabouk and enabled them to use water for ablution after causing water to pour forth.[14] He caused a well to swell with water during the event of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, enabling his followers with him to drink and use the water for ablution.[14] He threw a handful of dust at some of the enemy during the Battle of Badr, causing them to be blinded. This miracle is mentioned in the Quran, Sura Al-Anfal, Verse 17 (8:17).[14] When the Jews of Medina claimed that the hereafter belonged to them alone, a Quranic verse was revealed (2:94) saying "Then wish for death. if you are speaking the truth." Muhammad said they would not be able to wish for death and his statement was proven correct, despite the Jews eagerness to disprove the reality of his Prophethood. This challenge was repeated in another Quranic verse (62:6-7) and again was never met by the Jews.[14][15] He told his companion, Uthman, that a calamity would befall him, which would be followed with his entering paradise; this eventuated during Uthman's Caliphate.[14] He told his companion, Ammar ibn Yasir, that the unjust party would kill him; this eventuated during the First Fitna.[14] He said that God would make peace between two large Muslim groups through his grandson Hasan ibn Ali; this eventuated with the Hasan–Muawiya treaty.[14] He said that a man who was apparently fighting for the Muslim cause would actually be of the people of Hell; this was proven when the man committed suicide in order to remove his suffering following a wound in battle.[14] He said that he would kill one of the enemies of the Muslims, Ubay ibn Khalaf, which he achieved at the Battle of Uhud.[16] Before the Battle of Badr, he showed exactly where each of the enemy chiefs would be killed; they all died in the exact locations stated.[16] He said that a part of his nation would raid by sea; this eventuated with the establishment of Muslim naval power under the Caliphate.[16] He said that his daughter Fatimah would be the first of his family to die after him; which eventuated.[16] He told his wives that the most charitable one among them would be the first to die after him; this eventuated with the death of Zaynab bint Jahsh.[16] He caused Abdullah ibn Masud to convert to Islam after he made a barren ewe, which produced no milk, to produce milk.[16] He spit into Ali's sick eye, during the Battle of Khaybar, and it became healthy.[1] His companions would hear the food before him praising God.[1] He caused it to rain during a drought in Medina.[17] REFERENCES 1^ a b c Kenneth L. truthman2012:whatever happened in fatima does not dictate how I decide to worship God. Mary appeared there as I much as I read. Did it happen, I don't know, I was wasn't there. Most Catholics believe so. Protestants take the word and "prophecies" of their pastors as facts no matter how asinine it maybe. I have come to distrust stories men tell be it clergy, G.Os, priests, politicians or scholars. I have not seen the pope do more than raising up his hand in a mosque praying like the muslim as shown in a picture. Thanks for being honest , does that now make him a muslim or "pray islamically" as u said. Does Christianity have a standard form of prayer position, NO. The pope was invited to the mosque when he visited the country, muslims hardly ever invite non muslims to their mosques. I have muslims friends and relatives. If I ever find myself invited to a mosque by a friend I will go and pray that God guides them out of Islam. Does that mean I am a muslim, of course not. Christians' prayer has no particular formFull stop. Question answered. So can u see the error of ur initial view on the pope. Did u even know that one of the reasons pope Benedict was not well like in the muslim community was his open stance against Islam. Pope Francis has the same stance on Islam but he is a more jovial person. Does that make him a bad Christian , well let the self righteous judges decide. I see the Catholics as a religious organisation that is very organized, with dedicated people vast in theology and have very strong moral understanding of scripture and have done a lot of good in the world including fighting the spread of Islam to a standstill in Europe and northern African. I don't discriminate against Christian denominations because at the end God decides. it is as led by the Spirit. You can be moved to bow down, knee down, stand up, sit down etc. A man was praying and suddenly was moved by the Holy Spirit to lie down, and in a moment his spiritual eyes were opened and saw the arrow of the enemy fly over him.Ok. Fine. Let's not deviate from ur topic any further, have a nice day. |

LadunaI:They are facts. I have read ur quran and hadiths. Mohammed was a disgusting rapist, paedophile, war monger and murderer and died after eating poisoned goat meat . Look at my profile and my past topics. I am not new to the madness that is Islamic teachings. Are u one of those deluded muslims who thinks mohammed cured people with urine and split the moon in half and flew a donkey for no reason all alleged "miracles" in the fabricated hadiths. Please u are an adult (I assume) use ur head. Am pretty sure you and your like would be first in casualties of false prophet and false christ Jesus (as) talked about, that will be held swayed through spurious miracles.Lol.. Jesus warned Christians of false prophets like mohammed. Why do u think that Christians out number muslims for 1400 years. Because we know mohammed was a fraud. Do u even know aisha was a girl of 9 when mohammed had intercourse with the child. Is that rIght. Mr muslim use ur head. Being a Catholic Christian I hope you should askChristians don't follow the old testament. We follow the new testament. As far as Christianity is concerned we (Catholics, coptics, oriental, Greek and eastern orthodox, protestants, pentecostals etc) are united in the number of books. We believe no new testament book is apocryphal. Any more questions.
Peace be upon you.
Shalom |

truthman2012:Your state is indeed pathetic, how on earth would you be questioning me on the same issue just explained to you in a plain simple language. Do you ever think before you post at all? well, that's result of dogmatic belief and indoctrination. I repeat again Proohet Muhammed is INFALLIBLE and cannot commit sin even in sleep. Asking of forgiveness which you failed to appreciate is by saying God forbid that Jesus Christ was a "sinner " because he allowed the thought of satan to assailed him for brief moment which he effectively fought through Bible qoutations. This is similar issue that happened to Prophet Muhammed (saw), that Allah is referring to ask for forgiveness, when asked if you don't know. Your condemnation of the person of Pope still further show how far away from truth you are, and in that abyss of darkness failed to understand anything of spiritual import. Peace. |
| Re: Why Muhammad Could Not Do Miracles by LadunaI(m): 7:49am On Jan 11, 2016 |
parisbookaddict:The point one you raised, can you please post any source which prove your point that holy propehet (saw) did all what you've posted? Then coming to eating of poisoned meat you and cohort seems to be quoted and yet failed to see the high moral standard of holy prophet in it, here is the anecdote. A Jewess that happened to be living in the community where holy prophet was living presented a poisoned meat to him, out of complete jealous of the holy prophet. Do you ever pause for a moment to ponder how could holy prophet could have accepted her offer if not for his meekness and mercy to live peacefully with other religion followers. Now after he felt the pangs of the poison for a moment which Allah cured him thereafter. He was asked to revenge but said NO that he didn't want that, afterall Allah had cured him. Unfortunately, a companion that ate that meat with holy prophet died and in retribution according to law of old testament, the woman was killed. The second point you raised, clearly show your hypocrite nature, why? you never accept holy prophet performed any miracle so to say and yet you refer to him as that prophet Jesus is warning you of, that will perform many miracles and wonders, which in your own estimate prophet Muhammed has never performed one. Third point, you said you never follow old testament when Jesus said he has not come to abolish the law but to fulfill. Who are you following, your ego or pagan moon? Lastly, when Jesus was asked what to do to enter kingdom of God, he plainly stated without any ambiguity that the person should go and keep the commandments. Peace. |

truthman2012:To prove you wrong and let you understand.. You claim Prophet Muhammad (saw) is a sinner.. Tell me the sins he committed... Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the biography of human being. We are to learn from him. NOBODY IS SINLESS. I don't know a single sin Prophet Muhammad (saw) committed but everybody is a sinner, Be it intentionally or intentionally. Can you tell how many ants you have killed unintentionally while walking? Ant has a life, a family, friends and foe just like you are... Intentionally sins are baaad.. Tell me.. according to the bible.. Why did Jesus killed the fig tree? The reason for Allah telling HIS Prophet about asking for forgiveness is to teach Prophet Muhammad that nobody is pure.. Due to the fact that the best of human being, Prophet Muhammad (saw) ask for forgiveness or he was forgiven for his past sins or so IS TO TEACH WE ORDINARY HUMAN BEING THAT FOR PROPHET OF ALLAH TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS EVEN THOUGH ALL HIS SINS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, WE ORDINARY HUMAN BEING MUST ALWAYS ASK FOR FORGIVENESS... and concerning Prophet Muhammad miracles... Every single Prophet of Allah has their own miracles... you clearly don't know it.. instead of doing research... you Just run your mouth here... A literate and knowledgeable person NEVER POST OR TALK ABOUT WHAT HE DOESN'T HAVE INDEPTH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT... Now, to prove to you that nobody in history of the scriptures bears or answers to the name Jesus or Paul or Mathew and others ..... Tell me a single occasion where a Story gets translated into another language and all the names of the characters in the original text gets translated along with the story too..... THAT'S IF YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN... NEXT TIME, GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT.. THEN POST OR START DISCUSSION.. HATRED WILL NEVER LET YOU SEE TRUTH... NEVER HATE ANYTHING BUT UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING..... ALWAYS ARGUE TO LEARN.. |

LadunaI:Do you know how ridiculous, dogmatic and ignorant you sound by insisting mohamed was infallible and did not commit any sin even though neither the quoran nor any of the hadiths made such an outlandish claim You claim he did not sin yet is is well documented in your 'holy' books that he was a murderer, genocidal maniac, armed robber(caravan raiding), paedophile, rapist, covetous, adulterous, lying and deceitful narcissist. Mohamed can only be infallible only if going by the extremely low and pathetic islam standards, the above listed are not sins. |

| Re: Why Muhammad Could Not Do Miracles by truthman2012(op): 11:04am On Jan 11, 2016 |
LadunaI:How do you reason? Muhammad prayed he should be forgiven his PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE sins, yet you said he was INFALLIBLE. That is very serious. You are trying to deny his documented self-confession. You know what? Muhammad was placed in the same category with his followers on sinfulness, meaning he was as fallible as his followers: Quran 47:19] "So know (O Muhammad) that there is no God save Allah, AND ASK FORGIVENESS FOR THY SIN and for BELIEVING MEN AND BELIEVING WOMEN. Allah knoweth (both) your place of turmoil and your place of rest." That verse is so clear that it takes a glaring lie to say Muhammad was not a sinner unless of course it was Muhammad and allahh who were lying. Don't compare Jesus with Muhammad, both the Bible and quran testify to it that He was faultless and perfect. He had no sin to confess like Muhammad. Jesus was tempted by satan like man because He came in form of a man. Temptation by satan is no sin until you fall into it, which Jesus never did. Your knowledge of spiritual things is shallow or not there at all. Quran 19:19] He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son. The faultless son there is referring to Jesus. |

olasesi:Fables !! Laughing !!! Allahh stated in no ambiguos term that Muhammad couldn't perform miracles. Muhammad was asked to perform miracle: Quran17: 90 They say: "We shall not believe in thee, until thou cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth. Allahh said no, Muhammad couldn't perform any miracles because he was an ordinary man, a messenger: [Quran. 17: 93] Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- a messenger?" Despite these clear quranic statements, islamists still went ahead to fabricate miracles for Muhammad. If Muhammad actually did miracles, allahh must be lying that he could not or islamists lying that he could. Who is lying? |
