With our well known bad maintenance culture I hope and pray we are not trying the gods of the river, see ordinary that IMB plaza when it was been used I saw the amount of corrosion on the building which the then occupiers could not effectively maintain. I wonder if they finish these magnificent structures if we have the tenacity to constantly keep them in topnotch conditions.

Bold ideas but let's study the challenges of countries with similar structures and also prepare for the things that come with such structures. I just want to make common sense in senator Ben Bruce voice.

Tinubu/Fashola/Ambode must have planned to IMPORT the cleaners, househelps, carpenters, fridge repairers, mechanics, janitors etc from UK, USA, Canada etc since they did not provide education for ALL Lagos children.

Some days ago, I was at a secondary school in Surulere (across the bridge from the Island) in Lagos for a friend's event where he is educating secondary students about the perils of peer pressure. I honestly wasn't expecting what I saw as the state of this secondary school.
It left me wondering if this was a school or a dump yard. Why in heaven's name are Nigerian leaders looking the other way while the young ones study in this sorry environment?

The attached pictures are what I saw. This is no secondary school. It's a hopeless shanty. I hope this gets to front page and attracts the necessary attention.

There's something lagos state govt does that the federal govt needs to copy from them,they are experts at attracting investors..others states also need to learn from them...If na south south here now only the money community chairman go ask for their hand would drive them away..we should learn to welcome investment and development and not task the investor with unnecessary levy..
