You want the president to meet with them in the presence of journalists? Are you guys for real?

The press would be briefed on the decisions reached after the meeting is concluded. Sensitive security issues cannot be discussed with media cameras everywhere.

Beside, we should give kudos to the president for meeting with the BBOG activists for the second time in his administration. When this same group attempted to meet GEJ, they were tear gassed by AIG Mbu and his men.
So where're the details of the meeting held with the IMF president? Almost a week now and no news on what was discussed.

It's gonna be very hard for someone to convince me that some girls are still missing. Since when did terrorists turn to Santa Claus? Someone expects me to believe that some demonic agents are housing, feeding and clothing some girls for 2 years? They saw vision that the next Miss world or universe will come from their camp.?

Not to jubilate but Buhari go hear am...

Seriously, APC should go and re-groom Buhari on tenets of democracy.

One of which is: freedom of the press.

Apparently, the old daura dude has become what Yoruba call 'apasewaa!

Why are some people so against Madam Oby?
Please what has she done in the past that warrants the kind of invectives some people hurl at her?

Has she been such a bad person while she was in government? Or is it that she is not fighting a just cause? Is she in the BBOG movement for mere fame or for money?

But sensitive security issues can be discussed with women? Are you for real? How do we get first hand info on what was discussed, or we should wait to be spoon fed with what they want us to know. If security issues should be discussed according to you in the presence of BBOG women, I see no reason why the journalists should not be part of it. Except there's something else.

. So you want the press to cover private meetings of the President? That's why you have press briefings and press conferences. When the delegation leave the state house then if they like they can interview everyone on the entourage. That's the way it's done everywhere in the world. They are pressmen not pokenosers.

. Didn't you watch the presidential media chat where the same issue was raised, so you have no point. I repeat there's no where in the world where the press is spoonfed with information at every turn. That's why they can interview government officials at will on their TV/radio/print medis to know their position on sensitive and core national issues

. You have no idea of the FOI bill that you are shouting about. Do you think journalists were allowed to cover FEC meetings during your hero's tenure. What they show to you on TV are pre-meeting formalities. Once the council start deliberations the press is excused.

Yes, it's ok by me because, journalist nowadays have thrown professionalism we used to know them for into the wind and now sectional in their reportage. Just spit, they would report it, tag it as vomiting, if Nigeria journalist greet you good morning, you better come out and check the weather before you return greeting. We're in for another era of brown envelop journalism.

I agree with your post, ..........unlike some over here.

Sorry to say, but this generation of Youths are not worth anything aside from "Celebrity Showbiz".

Yes, girls are missing.

Lastpage:

*Fact is, some of these girls have been brain-washed to become Suicide bombers for boko haram]
*Fact is, many of these girls will never be recovered again...many are dead already. Anyone with sense would have noticed that majority of the suicide bombers who detonated themselves of recent ARE GIRLS in that age-bracket!
*Fact is, some of these girls have been shipped outside the shores of Nigeria, even before Buhari became President
*Fact is, even "Shekau" proved in one of his video, that he abducted girls so only fools will deny that girls are missing

Finally, the chances of finding the remaining girls is so slim that it will take the grace of God to locate the reminders.
Buhari did not promise to be a magician, we the NIGERIANS that voted for him see him as a "better alternative" to the kleptomaniac and imbecilic "status-quo" of "Goat and Yam theory" of stealing is not corruption.

Its not everything a President discusses, especially if it involves "Security", that Journalist will be present.
Nobody or Group should take the "open-door policy" of PMB to mean they can intimidate him.

And the BBOG members and the Parents should be careful in turning this into a "media circus" or be "playing politics" with the event, ...as the #WAILERS have turned it into because if they do, the sympathy and goodwill they enjoy fro Nigerians will simply dry-up.

I trust PMB to do all within hi spower, TO TRY TO BRING BACK ANY OF THE GIRLS THAT CAN STILL BE RESCUED.
2years in captivity of fanatical, Muslim terrorists is like being held in Guatanamo Prison with the worst of the Al Quaedas.
You can never predict "what" the person have become and how they have turned out.
