Inasmuch as my wish and the wish of every well meaning Nigerian is for sanity to be restored to our governmental and social systems and therefore, support the corruption fight of the president.

We know that 95% of our politicians are corrupt and wish that all of them face the full wrath of the law

But however, it seems politicians in APC all belong to the remaining 5% undecided

We want the president to show the same ruthlessness in probing even top hierarchy of his party undecided

By so doing, even Olisah Metuh will not bother to appeal his conviction
Tompolo will submit himself to the nearest police station
And others will not see reasons to complain too

As things stand, the President is still surrounded by theives

Charity as the say, begins at home
More grease to your elbow

Trailblazer1

Common sense should simply tell you Buhari will not jail APC member except those probably caught redhanded just as Obama a democrat did not prosecute Hilary for her complicity in the embassy bombing. No amount of your wailing will make him do that simply because you are not a stakeholder to his presidency

Buhari is doing the needful, which is probe every PDP politician possible to instal sanity in the polite this was exactly what Obasanjo did to instal sanity n every opposition member had to follow laid down procedure n due process so they do not end up in jail.

Only PDP governors floated that because they are in power n some paid dearly for it. PDP prosecuted other political parties politician and when they couldn't not pin a thing on them , they were released. Now can you say the same for Metuh or Dasuki ?

When PDP takes over in 2019 let them probe Fayemi for upgrading a website with several hundreds of millions but until then any politician PDP or APC caught in the corruption web of PMB should be jailed once convicted.

My brother, leave Tompolo alone. He's an adult, capable of sound judgment.......BTW, you can't compare late John Togo to Tompolo.
Bros, Tompolo life is at stake, not just him, those of people living in Warri. I followed the event of 2009 and 2010/11 and I knew the pains I had for the avoidable deaths.

As for John Togo, he wasn't a small "fry" if you followed event. He was touted as an untouchable "don", but a weak Jonathan wiped him within months. Tompolo would have been history in 2009 where it not that he surrendered on the eve of Amnesty expiry date. No need to deify these men. The only support we can give is for them to get good lawyers.

Leave him to keep deceiving Buhari

Before the year runs out, oil revenue would so drown that dollar supply will be very low to the point that $1 = #1000 due to scarcity of oil dollars
Buhari is gradually diversifying the economy. Already, the Ministry of Natural Resources is working on plans to make states explore resources in their respective domains.

A voice of reason(TonyeBarcanista) urged Tompolo to honour court orders, but you, in you own comment told him(TonyeBarcanista) to ''leave Tompolo alone''. You also told him(TonyeBarcanista) not to compare Tompolo with JohnTogo.

I hope you are aware that Operation Pulo Shield is still on-going in the NDelta. If an armed conflict in the ND ensue again, i pray the first shell from the NA's artillery land in your family compound
If Tompolo is wise he will heed to voices of reasoning.

Tompolo warned that security agencies planned to set him up with bombings in the Niger Delta and just this afternoon APC newspaper (TheNation) has reported of pipeline being blown up by 'militants' loyal to Tompolo in his village Gbaramatu which is leading to mass exodus of people afraid of invasion by security agencies

We are all aware of the alleged N13billion land deal scam involving Mr Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, a former Niger Delta militant and some former officials of NIMASSA. It is no news that not only that Tompolo refused to respond to EFCC's investigators summon, he also refused to appear before the court. His refusal to appear forced the judge to slam a warrant of arrest against him, which as expected will be effected by security agents. Though some people choose to assume that he's untouchable. The raw truth is that nobody, including Tompolo is untouchable. It will be in his own interest to appear before the judge and not dare the State. I say this for the following reasons;

1. He Cannot Afford To Make "General" John Togo Mistake:
In 2010 General John Togo assumed that he was powerful and untouchable. He dared the government of Jonathan that was pressing on him to surrender to the federal government. He had received amnesty in 2009 under Yar'adua but went to the Creek when Jonathan took over power because "he was not having access to the villa". The military went after him, bombed his camp and innocent people of communities in Warri, Delta state. The Press were "hailing him" and elevating him to a deity status. Sahara Reporters December 28, 2010 report tagged him "The New Face of Niger Delta Insurgency" and even granted him phone interview. However, in May 2011, just 5months after his interview, it was announced that Togo has been killed by military strike in his camp and his body buried by his footsoldiers. It was also reported that he ordered his boys to surrender at the point of death. The military however exhumed his body and handed the corpse to his family for burial.

The "deified" Togo that thought he was untouchable met his untimely death.
www.vanguardngr.com/2011/07/24/ndlf-confirms-togos-death/

2. He Can't Afford To Repeat His 2009 Mistake:
In 2009 Tompolo as the leader of a militant group refused to accept amnesty and went on to attack oil installation. The military went against him bombing Gbaramatu Kingdom and villages in his Warri South West LGA "stronghold" including Kolokoloama, Okarankoko, Kurutie, and Oporoza. His so called "dreaded" Camp 5 was raized and taken over while he and his boys fled. With more bombing by the army under Yar'adua/GEJ, it was only a matter of time before he'd have been killed or captured. But, he surrendered 24hours before the amnesty deadline on October 2009. The surrender and repentance saved his life. Unfortunately, more than 300 people was killed and houses razed to ashes. It will amount to folly for Tompolo to repeat the event of 2009.

3. He Cannot Afford To Bring Death on Innocent Niger Deltans:
The action of Tompolo led to the death of over 300 majority Ijaws, and more than 3000 displaced in 2009. Whereas the dead are gone and the displaced are yet to recover, Tompolo grew into a billionaire(thanks to government's patronage). Any attack on security official by his boys will mean a declaration of war against the State, which will lead to loss of lives and properties of innocent people(like it was in 2009) and Tompolo will not escape it. The innocent won't continue to pay the price for what they have no hand in. We can also recall that the feeling of invincibility led to the death of both the innocent and the criminals in Odi, Bayelsa state in 1999.

4. Nobody is Invincible or Immortal:
As "weak" as Goodluck Jonathan was, he went after Okah and put him in prison. He also went after the "dreaded" General John Togo and sent him to his grave. How much more a determined President Muhammadu Buhari? He should also be aware that even the Great Isaac Adaka Boro that was fighting a legitimate struggle had to surrender to the FG after 12 days. How much more him that is being called to respond to criminal allegation. He should allow himself to be used as an experiment by the military.

It will be in the interest of Mr Tompolo to submit himself to court and avoid being arrested. If he's arrested, it will be very tough for him to obtain bail order. He shouldn't dare the State nor listen to the voices of sycophants and praise singers that are deifying him. Non of these sycophants' life is at stake. He is my brother as an Ijawman, and should yield to voice of reasoning.

May God Bless Us All and Bless Nigeria

Tell us which court order did Buhari and DSS flout by rearresting an offender for a crime?

Which part of Nigerian constitution states that once you're granted bail, you cannot be rearrested for another offence?

If you cannot provide the section of the constitution which is the ultimate rule of law in Nigeria, forever hold your peace or invite on yourself the full wrath of Almighty God and the curses of all the affected victims of the offenders' wickedness and callousness.
