Infinix have released Android 6.0 MARSHMALLOW for infinix X510 Hot 2 on 7th January 2016 but the OTA update will be released automatically in batches so you will have to be very patient till it gets to you but if you want it now, Here's how to go about it.

click on this link do download MARSHMALLOW OTA zip manually

save the zip in your extsdcard.

*Reboot your Phone into recovery (by pressing the power and volume+ button together or using adb command: adb reboot recovery)

*Android Robot will appear with warning triangle and no command.

*Press down the Power button only and then press the volume+ after 1 second.

*Recovery opens. use the volume buttons to scroll up and down and use the power button to select.

*Select apply update from Sdcard
select the OTA zip you earlier downloaded.

*sit back and enjoy the magic

*Reboot when done.

!!! WARNING!!!!

Don't try this with a custom recovery like TWRP Recovery, it won't work.

Don't try this if you have rooted your phone before, you will get error, even if you unroot, you will still get error because your /system partition has been remounted wr.
