Are you having a problem with the man's profession?
Are you having a problem with the man's education (you didn't even bother to mention that in your post)?
Are you having a problem with the man's financial status?

Until you answer each of these, you'll persist in calling for help to no avail. By the way, you say your sister is 28. How many more years you think she can spend at home. Or do you have some doctor man you want to marry her to? Just beware cos in two years' time she may turn sugar mummy carrying young hustlers around in her fine jeep. Its a pity op, you and your parents are shallow minded.. am a graduate Bsc Marine biology but due to the passion I have in fashion.. I then delved into dressmaking.. I started as a dressmaker but in the recent years I became a top fashion designer.. I drive a nice lovely Jeep car. First of all, what led him to that situation? Like failed business? Went to school but couldn't land a job? You know all these normal Nollywood kinda stories

If you have never been in such situations you can't really appreciate what the op is saying. All the people condemning the op and his family are just ignorant of the situation on ground. As long as the shoemaker guy is not as educated as the lady, their marriage will continue to experience some level of issues. It would have been a bit better if it's the guy that is more educated than the lady, but with the lady more educated than the guy, there will be perennial problems.

Op, please u and your family members should take this matter to God in prayers. The love your sister claims to have for this guy is not natural, there are some elements of juju in it.

I'm in your shoes also at the moment. Mine is even worse cos my own sister has given birth to a child for the guy, a secondary school dropout panel beater and she has absconded with him. It's over a year that we have not known her whereabouts. No form of communication.

Please pray very well. I trust God to intervene and set your sister free from the bondage she's in.

My dear it depends on the level of shoemaker he is but the way u put am, make am be like say na all dese N10, N20 shoe mender u dey talk which I doubt and if he's that kind then Eleyi gidi gan. On the other hand if he's a big tym cobbler as in making shoes, has a big shop and even pple working 4 him then let her be. All the same whether small or big, the most important thing is "is he a graduate?" Cos wahala fit happen if he's nt later in that marriage.

There's a panel beater on my street.. he does his job so well that people from far patronizes him.. he s 28 years. He has a pretty wife a kid and recently now new twins boys.. his first kid attend a private school.. his wife own a supermarket shop.. he works so hard and so good.. and his kids very fresh.. so what r we talking about here..
