They were both having an argument on who is right for the job between Jonathan and Buhari.
The first was of the opinion that Gej should have been given a 2nd chance since he is from the minority. That hausa or yoruba will never accept such if it's their son and the corruption noise was just a scam.
The 2nd was one into importing of 2nd hand wears.
He said Gej was installed by Yoruba and Hausa, that the protest that brought him to power was led by those 2 especially yoruba. On corruption allegations, he said either way we look at it, Obj sent some to prison for corruption but Gej never send anyone, was he claiming that everyone was holy during his administration.
He also said Pmb couldn't have done anything due to the way dollar was spent during the last election and the fall in oil prices.
The argument continues with some part in igbo which I don't understand.
Conclusively, the 1st man asked, are you not an Igbo, why defend Pmb. The man said that's the sentiment most of us(Igbo) use in defending Gej forgetting that his actions affect everyone including igbo.
I witnessed this at Rafco Ojurin, Alagbado area, Lagos.
It was fun and confirmed my belief that foolish is not Igbo.

there was a reason I mentioned where the conversation took place.
The place is a motor park with shops by the road. I was sitting close enjoying my lucozade boost waiting for my friend. I don't know what led to their conversation but I think it's about the economy. The 2nd is the owner of the shop while the 1st was just a visitor/friend to him.

There are lots of Igbos like the second guy but the foolish ones are making the loudest noise. It pains me when people condemn Igbos cuz of the action of few of them. Another funny thing among those against Buhari is that majority of them are not informed, they believe all source of news. imagine one of them telling me "That Russia and USA are in constant touch with Kalu even inside the cell". Few minutes of lecturing and provision of the true info was enough to cure his ignorance. It should work for others too but the problem is that a madam must be calm before you communicate with him.

personally for me GEJ did not do well, but buhari is not an option.
Why must they put us in the dilemma of choosing between GEJ and MB? in america there are about 10 of them or so competing for presidency, y must GEJ and MB be the only popular candidate for Nigeria?

Seriously if Ben Bruce came out I would've voted him.

If you so hate igbos then you should be glad when they say they want to leave.....

You are just an impressionable your person whose reason has been dulled by the narrow minded mentality of your imbalanced socio-cultural milleu

A country of forced union can never be progressive

What you should do is to stop being unreasonable. Stop defending or attacking based on tribal sentiments. It will only make you more myopic.
