'The School Feeding Programme will provide one meal per day to 1.5 million pupils in public primary schools in Kaduna State

I am moved by the responsibility to implement the school feeding programme for primary school pupils.

It is an unprecedented undertaking in this state, but one that we solemnly pledged to do when we were campaigning.

Today is a special day in the unfolding of the change agenda the APC was elected to implement.
The programme is a direct intervention in the health of our children, situating our schools as places to promote education and nutrition.

It is a challenge in terms of its scale, cost & the logistics required to deliver the meals everyday. But our children deserve this, & more.

It would save parents money, empower the women who have been selected as the vendors and expand the market for farm products'.

What nonsense is that? Can't the package the food properly? They can do with disposable plates.
This will make it faster to distribute the food except they plan to build a canteen (which will add extra cost to the program).

But you know is true. A large portion of them will still not turn up in schools despite the free Mia kuka. Western education is haram.

I appreciate efforts like this but sustaining it seems to be the problem. The food looks adequate in that picx but on the long term, can they provide foods that is not only nutritious in quality but adequate in quantity..won't be suprised if I see them eating rice without meat next year when corruption sets in.. Its a feasible development if it can be monitored by the government..kudos to el rufai, that will be reduce the issue of protein energy malnutrition
