Because there is no need for it.

Why can't you tell me why you would wish for dual sd card.

I. have two card and one is idle I can't copy to the other as I will all need to insert the two before I can copy to the other instead

just imagine you lost ur phone and SD card with the backup one or what ever you called it can save you 60gb of files.

SMH seriously for you.

Assuming you have a phone with dual SD card and you lost the phone, so one SD card will lost with the phone and the other will reappear in your possession?

After all the explanations here why dual SD card isn't necessary, you still think you have a point you can as well go and manufacture a phone with dual SD card slot.

Why not even look for a phone with front and back screen, incase one fail...
