Mediocre? Not quite. The pictures you have there for the USA are for a forward operating base such as the NA has in Maiduguri. The pictures that the Op has displayed are for a mobile battlefield CENTCOM. Two quite different things. What you should have asked is what is the stream/source of the data and images that are being viewed? Is it live? Yes and it is certainly not skype. Nigeria has the ALTR High altitude surveillance aircraft and the Chinese CH3 UAV (Image: Missile armed) These two platforms can broadcast live battlefield data imagery direct to both the forward operating base and mobile CENTCOM. Now that Nigeria is acquiring 4th Generation aircraft - The J17 Thunder - battlefield data can even go directly up into the sky for immediate support action.

I know that as citizens when we look at Nigeria we are inclined to criticize everything and with good reason in many cases, but this is not one of such cases. Thanks.

You are talking about survellance aircraft. What am talking about is the meduim of communication. Becos PMB was talking with the troops. If the planes are our only source of communication then it means they have to remain in the air 24/7 to maintain communication.

Im still trying to understand todays youth. Is that they dont even know what standards look like anymore or are they just plain stupidity and mediocre. Your president is skyping under a makeshift tent and you call it mobile command center.

What's the basis for the conclusion that the van is not ideal within the peculiar setting of the military campaign in the North? It is not enough to merely say so, there must be reasons, cogent ones. For instance, methinks that maintenance of these vans would be easy, quick getaway from threats easy replacement and manouvere etc.
