Yesterday, while playing the Aba Road, heading towards Garrison, we met a heavy traffic which started from NDDC office towards Waterlines. After beating the traffic, at Waterlines, we saw fire on the middle of the road.

It was later learnt that Militants invaded the area

The angry ex-militants were said to have
been armed with dangerous weapons and
set fire at the centre of the road between
the Niger Delta Development Commission
(NDDC) Secretariat down to Waterlines
Junction.
The incident caused pandemonium, as
drivers abandoned their vehicles and
scampered for safety.
According to eyewitnesses, the boys
chanted “pay us our money”, as they
attacked road users.
It would be recalled that the former
militants had always protested delayed
payment of their Amnesty monthly
stipends.

What is really happening.

I doubt if PMB and APC has the wisdom to address the situations in this country.
Things seems to be getting out of hand, and we are all watching. May God help us

No they can't, they are criminals and should be treated so. In truth Yar Adua created a monster. Pay you money for doing what exactly?? The federal government failed to address the issue of cleaning up on oil spills which made farming and fishing in many places impossiible, and youths and thugs who probably wouldn't have been farming anyway capitalised on this. The legitimate sufferers from oil and gas explorations are not the ones being paid here. Thugs hijacked the whole thing and held the government to ransome, and the sad part is, the insecurity has driven out many businesses from Port Harcourt and has damaged the economy, it is pretty much sabotage.

The SS leaders should talk to these rogues .
Since they have refused to listen to news on radio and on television about the economic situation of the country.

We dont want them to add to it.

Still they are bombing pipelines

I am thought it , i have said it and will continue to say it

PMB issued warnings to community leaders in ND will be held responsible for further pipeline sabotages and bombings

Buhari doesn't just issue warnings, i bet he's got list of names of those who will disappear or arrested

If these youths let this escalate , Army will be drafted to SS and SE and ND ,

They will cause it themselves and they will say Buhari is a tyrant

I hope they have some sense soon because eventually Buhari will have to act , they have called him vindictive, wicked and stuffs, They might just let him act it out

The government should please scrap this amnesty programme because Oil is no longer something to depend on. Until it's raise again in price so the militant will claim their money.

Let's be sincere here. We need a round table discussion. Sincere discusión, not the one that was done in the confab where people went to collect money.

If the need be, we should split. We have been struggling to be one. Regime after regime, everyone felt marginalised. No way can we be one.

We have been carrying the destiny of another man on our shoulder, and it is killing us.

Sense G Military won't solve this issues. Killing them will worsens it.

Buhari should thread with caution. Nigeria is indeed sitting on a time bomb.

I humbly thank God that I wasn't caught up in the attack, I got there after they have done with their nonsense

May God protect everyone of us
