I tire oh. I've read a lot of threads on Nairaland and even gsmarena and they're a lot of good reviews there on Gionee phones especailly the M3 midrange phone.

if they add all those features now and the price goes up, u will still come and complain that its too expensive.
We want premium quality, but we are unwilling to payup.

I love m5 but it's low ppi and weight makes me to go for xioami. all I need to know now does the phone really has 32 in build memory and hope it doesn't lag or hang at all.

what I was just saying was that anyfin cud happen 2 ur phone... Screen cud break and so on.. So it wud be beta 4 me if a phone am using has a care centre.. About d m5 am not using 1 but my friend is and so far I dnt tink have seen the phone lag @ all plus I haven't seen people complaining about their m5 lagging..

guy just forget it! The note3 looks elegant though + with mouth watering specs but I must tel u, d phone does not meet up, d hotness of d phone can boil ones palm. With all my effort to get things right wit d phone for me to be able to download n update apps from Google play store and to even get rid of some chinko stuff on it even go as far as reducing the processor to kill d hotness does not yield. After 4 days of purchased @53k, I sold it for 30k been enjoying ma m5 since den. Up m5

I think you were too quick to get rid of the phone. You obviously had a buggy Rom installed most likely by the seller. A simple search thru Google & MIUI forums would have saved you over 20k. Even before the arrival of my phone I've got ample information on it.

I just took delivery of my note 3 and it comes with the international Rom & Google services out of the box and I must say am quite satisfied.

well cool.. Just like I said in my post I haven't seen any1 complain about their m5 @ all

u are on point sir. but I think phone engineers that we have in kano can solve any kind of problem at low cost and I hv never in my life experience any problems with phones, I dnt know whether it's because I always go for new n genuine sets.

The HW/Specs of the RN3 beats the Gionee hands down cos
1) Helio X10 (MT6795/T) is a good SoC on high mid-end phones.
2) MIUI/7 just rocks. Gets the job done. Sure, there are some hiccups here and there
3) LARGE COMMUNITY. That means plenty plenty custom ROMs, support Official/unofficial... etc
4) XIAOMI make good products and are firmly on the heels of Apple and Samsung.


Of course the price difference says it all but hey, you get what you pay for.

Interesting choice, as I intend to get a new phone soon. But since I've been using Gionee products now for the past 18 months (from Gionee M2 to Gonee M3mini) seems i'll end up getting the M5.

I have never in my life think of taking a new phone to so called centre infact I dnt even kno that centres exists. I dnt expect an original phone to come out of box with fault but if it does I would just find an original engeer to solve my problem n moves on. there I would go with xioami. the only problem now with xioami is, i heard that one cannot move apps to sd card. dont ask me how to sdcard on it cos I found a simple way to do that.
