i may be wrong for saying that it is a scam and i may not be also wrong but here are my reasons why i think it is a scam... why are only women, old looking women the ones clamoring for their release. Don't they have fathers, brothers and sister abi their fathers, brothers and sisters are not concerned? Why is it only one video that bokoharam released about them. If they are in the hands of bokoharam, definitely there are other videos bokoharam would have released about them to prove to us that they kidnapped them. They said the girls were writing waec, we know that the north are not so educated, how come you will be able to find two hundred and something students writing waec in a school in the north? Even here in the south, those that write waec in a school are not up to 200. How come an igbo woman is the one spear-heading the BBOG campaign, why did an elite from maiduguri not sponsor or spear-head the group, or they don't have elites? How did bokoharam fend for two hundred and something girls...not boys or men o...even the top terrorist group don't kidnap such high number of civilians...why has there been no trace of them since except the ones we hear on social media, even when the Americans came, with all the gadgets they have, they couldn't give an exact location of the girls? Why have the government of the day given low priority to it since that was a strong campaign topic. Like i said earlier, i may be wrong but until this my assertions are cleared, i still think it is a scam

This man arrested should be taken to join Nnamdi Kanu at DSS and arraigned before the court for TREASON. He has killed a lot of Nigerians, he used a gun, he pinned the ISIS flag on the towns he captured. Nnamdi Kanu did not do any of these. He only opened up a radio station and they call this TREASON.

I actually thot so too until I met a friend from michika. it's not a small thing. the girls from chibok is only a fraction of the total amount of girls kidnapped by Boko Haram. chibok is just one out of several communities. we are talking within the range of not less than 800 young girls. older women and children is not included.

I schooled in unimaid. then there is this misconception that the north east is entirely Islam dominated. that's not true. you will surprisingly find large Christian communities also. you can distinguish them through the names they bear like Sarah Yusuf, Matthew Suleiman. the irony is when Boko Haram came, they executed them all.

no be lie ooh. u don't want to hear the story from a direct victim .it's horrible.

My friend from michika said because schools during waec usually merge centers because most of them can't offer practicals

why girls and not boys?
u already know the answer to that. anyway, u didn't include older women and children who they use to do chores like cooking etc. anyone who told u they don't take boys is not been truthful.. they where training young boys of a particular age category to fight along side.. anything short of that is death.

why only women mourning and not the fathers?
to be honest, I don't know.. but they are there... women under this condition tend to know how to push their points more than men and get better results from government.... I don't know but they are there. then note that not all are present all the times. some have already resigned them selves to faith while most others don't readily have money to constantly make themselves available in Abuja.. go to chibok.. they are there.

how does Boko Haram feed so many?
from stories I have read from those rescued, they don't feed them, only when necessary. many go days without food. and even when they do get fed, who arranges it. that is why we can never rule out external support and patronage of Boko haram within and outside Nigeria

Boko Haram videos and no sighting?
you will have to ask Boko Haram.. as for the sightings, the north covers a very large swat of land with alot of difficult terrain. it's not a blank white sheet of paper. personally I think our intelligence gathering still needs to be updated and we need to deploy land and air surveillance equipments. sooner or later something will come up. I don't know if the US has deployed their drones already.....?

my heart goes out to the families. I can't imagine my daughter in that kind of situation and I don't pray for such even for my worst enemy. it's easier said than done.

. Thank Almighty God. We are making great progress. They must not let him escape. I heard one notorious commander of Boko Haram terrorists was caught and handed over to military authorities under former President Goodluck Jonathan, but they later released him. Unfortunately for him, he was caught again by vigilant military officers and when he was bragging that he would be released again, one tough female military officer just finished him with her gun on the spot.

Hey...slow down a bit, no one said Jonathan sponsored Boko Haram, u re mixing up an already complex issue.

Chibok abduction though related to bokoharam is being considered separately here. Be informed that many atrocities occurred that was swept under the cover of bokoharam but which was never connected to it, but made to seem so to undiscerning public.

Maybe u may need to have a look at the earlier discussions.

The original person I quoted stated that he thinks the Chibok abduction is a scam and never took place.

I then made him understand that if indeed the chibok issue is a scam, it is only GEJ and his cronies that the resources to pull off such a scam.

It is virtually impossible for the then opposition to pull off such a scam without GEJ and his security network knowing. This security network is made up of the DSS, Police, Civil defence, Army, Airforce, NIA, Defence intelligence, informal sources and even intelligence formations of friendly countries. It is impossible!

I say it again, it is impossible for GEJ not to get any info from ALL THESE SOURCES about the 'supposed chibok scam!

If indeed it happened that the scam was pulled by the then opposition and GEJ did not get security information about this or purposely did not release the security information at his disposal to the public, then GEJ would indeed be the greatest dullard of the century to ever grace a leadership position and Nigeria did very well to do away with such an inept and ignorant Leader.

GEJ had under him, the entire security and financial apparatus of the Nigerian govt and this has far reaching implications.

It is only those who don't understand the extent of the security information available to a president, that will think an opposition pulled off such a scam without the incumbent President having facts and figures on the issue.

This then brings us to my own point, that...

...if indeed 'chibok' is a scam, then it was masterminded by GEJ and his minions for a certain purpose that eventually backfired.
