Just there oo.. I go on Tuesdays so I c Dr Martin's. I usually get dere around 11am & by then d lecture is already over. But they av crowd sha... imagine me being number 97!! My last ANC, i complained of discharge dat wets my panntss & instead of him to send me for scan, he just checked baby's heartbeat & said evrytin is ok & prescribed one cream like dat for me to be rubbing down there & i was like.. 'did I complain of an itch'
few wks ago I called him(he dint know my identity..& me i like for my doc to av dat personalised touch) dat I was havin stomach ache & stooling(up to 6 times dat day within 5hrs) he asked how many wks I was & i was 19 then so he told me to use flagyl & buscopan.. i call one of my family members who's a Dr & he told me to go immediately to hospital because of dehydration & to hold on wt d drug use.. I just jejely soak ijebu garri & dat was d end of it.
Early in my preg wen I was about 7wks, i was feelin feverish & went to d hosp 2 c a regular doc... after doin malaria test, i was given artesunate & paludrine. I took only d paludrine o.. I no fit shout.

She too must apply some of her own sense in dealing with the situation. Her best bet is to leave somehow, these kain inlaws won't change. Her hubby too is insensitive he should have figured out by now that his wife isn't happy there. I'd know if my spouse isn't alright over the phone!

Some inlaws can be oppressive in the name of love. Its so so upsetting

Please, get the contact of the girl's parent and speak with her mother, especially. Narrate their daughter's ordeal to her and the need for them to get in touch with her as soon as possible.. No mama/father would hear bout her daughter's suffering and would do nothing. Distance can't be a barrier. Ko possible. Let her parents do the calling, where necessary.

Your friend needs all of the help she could get, pls help her in every capacity. #IFeelSadForHer. It is well.

Cost of Rhogam is determined by exchange rate. As at late last year, it was N21,000 -N25,000. Now that $1 to Naira is N305, I can only imagine the cost. This our special blood group, ehn. God is able. #Proud to be a universal blood donor, that's the consolation.

Their service is ok. Antenatal days are monday and thursday. Monday is frm 4pm till 8pm while thur is from 10am till 2pm.

Ok. I ran into a frnd of mine who narrated her ordeal in d hands of her Mil 2me ehn,I was dombfounded. She gave birth 2months ago n was moved 2 her Pil's place cos her husby was not around....She said her mil practically turned her into a maid. She's d 1 dat washes her baby's clothes from day 1 till date,she started bathing her baby wen d baby was 9days old (ftm o).She cooked 4d whole house,take care of her lo alone,sweeps evryday if she fails 2 sweep wahala go burst.d worst of it all is dat her mil had ceased her fone n she cannot reach her husby.D husby only reaches her thru her mil's fone, d lie is 'wifey lost her fone' she can't even reach her parents....I don't knw wat 2 tell her or how 2 say it as she was crying bitterly. Pls wat can I advice her? She looked so pale n her baby girl doesn't look ok either.I feel so sorry 4 her...

I suggested calling her parents or siblings 2 her,but she kicked against it,saying dat it wil worsen d situation...She trust her husby n said he's ignorant of d whole thing....I just ve 2 try my best n reach d man before calling her parents...Thanks

proudmum38 ,your friend is just looking for cheap sympathy and wallowing in self pity that is not going to help her in any way. I got married when i was 20+ and i have lived with my inlaws from dat time till now i am 23(almost everyone is older than me,unfriendly,gossip a lot,etc).but instead of looking totally helpless,i made them understand my place in the family,stopped expecting them to do anytin for me,learned to mind my buisness and showed everyone their boundaries. It wasnt easy because they tried intimidating me,but i fought back and they gave me my way. When i gave birth to my first baby,i did everytin for myself and it did not kill me.nobody did any omugwo for me.my mom came but left becos she felt like an intruder. She should learn to be strong especially now that she is a mother because no matter how gentle she acts,dey will still find faults with her until dey push her into depression or insanity.
