Change the system, NOT the players.

The cardinal has spoken the minds of the average sane Nigerian.

Actually the problems of this nation go well beyond the Presidency but since the APC is in power, it must assume total responsibility for all the current challenges.

Let the APC demonstrates it's seriousness in rescuing Nigeria by having a sincere look at the recommendations of the 2014 Confab and go ahead to implement them.

We need deep rooted solutions, NOT surface solutions.

The system is the problem.....the main problem.
Apc thinks otherwise and believes Gej is the root problem.

I think it's time someone tell this man the truth, with the way things are going I wonder if we'll still have a country to call our own in 3 years time

This is 'buyers remorse' from Cardinal Okogie. He rooted for Buhari thinking that a leopard will ever change it's spot by mere bathing in the rain. I'm sure others will be bold now to start speaking out.
he never rooted for Buhari. he only spoke against the previous government. he normally never roots for anybody. I only have a 50% belief in the authencity of this article though.

"Olowo kan laarin oloshi mefa.....oloshi no gbogbo won "( a rich man in the mist of six pauper is only the seventh pauper). President Buhare is an angel in the mist of demons, and that makes him another demon.
I believe he has good intentions and plans for this country but lost it all the day he decided to pitch His tents with Nigerian political demons thinking he could outsmart them.
Today he is a victim hunted by his political folly. I am patiently waiting to see how he would maneuver his way out of this quagmire. The devils resident in his government/party will continue to ill-advice him like they did right from Obansajo through Jonathan's days to ensure their personal gains are achieved

God bless fearless christian fathers of today like Cardinal Okojie, may they live longer with the truth in their hearts.

God of heaven will not allow APC destroy the Nigeria that He used GEJ to preserve for us in Jesus name.

Apc thinks otherwise and believes Gej is the root problem.

To be fair with PMB, he also inherited a corrupted and wrong structure; there's very little he can achieve even if he has but angels in his cabinet.

That being said, blaming the last administration after being in power for more than 8 months is plain stupidity.

APC should revisit the last confab and implement the recommendations. Those recommendations will boost my patriotism for Nigeria.

GEJ isn't the root cause. He even tried addressing the root causes with the 2014 Confab.

very soon the baboon from Ota will speak out too. He is only bidding his time so as to ride on peoples emotions
Exactly what I'm waiting for too. He's been so quiet and I'm sure he's full of regrets by now.

Buhari is busy fighting corruption yet out of 2.1 billion dollars, it took us full 6months to recover only about 10billion naira so by the end of his tenure, we will end up recovering nearly 80billion looted naira while all Nigerians might have died of starvation and Nigeria probably out of world's map.

By the way, I'm happy the Cardinal eyes are finally open. Goodmorning Cardinal Okojie and patiently waiting for OBJ to wake up too if his evil heart will let himundecided

This article by the Cardinal and the other interview by a certain Ayo Adebanjo have certainly described in apt teams the shambolic 8 months tenure of buhari's led govt. Tbh I supported APC cos I hoped they would be better than the corruption filled pdp but man, they have failed in every sphere. The economy needs more attention. Tired of reading "fg chases tompolo" every day in the news. Tired of "we will". People are loosing their jobs, businesses are crashing. Buhari should be with kemi Adeosun right now tinkering on ways to regurgitate the ailing economy. Leave corruption fight for efcc. But being a Nigerian that I am, I certainly hope he can turn it around. There is 3 more years and 3 months left.

Nigeria's number one hiccup is corruption. Fighting it will be messy. Fighting will attract very few friends. Fighting it will not be perfect. But fighting it to a standstill will cure all the other ills. If everybody is singing praises for this administration, I would be worried.

Yes. But unfortunately we can't address these root causes without the lazy Northern oligarchy and lawmakers frustrating the drive. You can't address these issues without going to to toe with some known benzinos

I will not be supprised if Cardinal Okogie is roped in to one scandal in the coming weeks. There is zero tolerance to constructive criticism in this administration. It is time for men of goodwill to tell the emperor that he is walking the street naked while his dubious advisers and praise singers lied to him that he is putting on a royal robe

We wailers have wailed enough. When we make informed comments on obvious truths we are branded corrupt and anti Nigeria. Right before our eyes we witness the gradual demise of our economy and democracy, yet the zombies turn a blind eye and chant Sai baba. To APC and friends, take your country and let the free fall continue, we'll see at rock bottom.
