it's probably a recent picture, what a pity for those kids being tortured like this.

How will they not grow up to be bitter and angry at society? huh

when they were intentionally deprived of basic care by adults in their circle.

Imagine taking such pictures and showing them off as if they are animals in a zoo.

lord have mercy.

not the same.

This picture shows intentional neglect and malice and whoever took the photo should really be brought to book.

they even tied juju string around the kids' waists for heaven's sake.

I just hope it wasnt chain!

You can even see the kids are scared, and very frightened. Lord knows where their parents are.

This isn't applicable in the south that past this level before the coming of white men . this must be in the north. some still dress like this to school even at this age.
I serve in core north 2000/2001 but i havent seeing any student like coming to school half naked.

. . . . . .
the picture was not taken in Nigeria and neither are the kids Nigerians.

you should focus your energy on finding whoever abducted these kids and holding them accountable for what they are doing.

The moderators should investigate some of these pictures very well before moving the threads to FP. I don't believe this picture was taken in Nigeria at any point in our history. A credible source should be attached if it's true.

Not only Northern part. Even few public schools which are over populated with students in the classrooms have them sit on the floor. I know a lot in lagos.

Must must be somewhere in the North.
Over there some school are still like that.
It couldn't have been in the West or East where graduates and other professionals
had had been produced decades ago. Thinkn of CMS grammer Schl, and Kings College in the West, Hope Wadell and DMGS in the East, and a certain powerful Schl in Warri whose name I hav forgotten but it produced Gen. David Ejoor. It couldnt hav been Barewa College either. No insults intended to our Northern brothers. Just saying truth on sunday.

As at that period, northerners don't run around naked talk less of sitting naked in classrooms. There are schools in the south were student still sit on the floor! Tell me another story.

The difference between the north and south is that since before the coming of the white man, northerners do wear cloths unlike some people that run around naked.

Source say this was a classroom in Nigeria in 1950; 10 years before independence. We need to admit that the white man really helped us...they brought us civilization but now we don dey wise pass them. Lol!
