- So now, the combat suite is no longer French, it is no longer the same as on the Lafayette, F100 and Charles De Guelle, it is now South-African. I'll have you know that the god and leader of all South-Africans in Nairaland, Patrick aka Patches689 has something different to say.
Patches689 please your explanation is needed on this matter.

He miss-spoke.

75% of the Valour Class's "value added" systems are local content (ie: 35mm guns, Uhmkonto, sighting for 20mm, 12.5mm RCS, Electro-optical tracking for the 35mm, FCS for the Uhmkonto, Comms array, Engine management system, various coding relating to LinkZA and Chaka etc).

The combat suite is largely french.

Nope the burden lies squarely on you.

You were the first one to say the Valour combat suit is obsolete by posting the opinion of Mr Young, when he was referring to the combat managing system, Patches689 and I knew exactly what he was referring to and thus provided sources that clearly read " combat managing system"of the Valour is exactly the same as the Charles de Gaulle class, Lafayette ect ect

Leds150 APS which SAAB,Grintec and Denel co developed, only 8 countries in the world are able to develop such a system.

Ever heard of Carl Zies South Africa? They helped co developed the Cobra HMD.
@bolded, Please tell us about it.

Tell me it's a typo or you go down in ignominy and infamy.

Jln115 you are surely drunk.

Saab Aerosystems has
since 2003 together with BAE System been developing the
Cobra HMD
Must I go qoute your Mr Youg source??

The only reason we use combat suit is because YOU referred to the Combat Management system as the combat suit.

And go google Carl Zeiss SA, if you don't believe me.

No I did not miss-speak:

"This class's Combat Management system, which apparently accounts for 40% of each warship cost, was purchased from the Thales detexis company. The tavitac system is also fitted to the french Navy's LA Fayette and updated versions aboard the Saudi Arabia F3000 air defence frigate, and the French nuclear powered aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle."

Also : "75% of the combat suit is home-grown"

@Henry240s source referred to the CMS being somehow obsolete not the combat suit as whole which includes basically everything but the Hull.

Mr Young lost the tender to Thales to supply the CMS

You have not provided technical specs.

And it says:

gives the Theatre Commander the opportunity to have first hand information of the battle space.

It does not say:

gives the Theatre Commander the opportunity to have first hand control of the battle space.

Now, you have said: It can command 30 000 men and 100 aircraft.

Provide evidence of:

- Ability to command
Eagle is a COMMAND post you fool ! You are asking for proof that it has Ability to command, so what is a command post if it cannot command? Reason why I say almost every South African is born a fool !

Rainbow nation of adult fools living on ANC government free food like brain dead-stomach alive parasites !!!

It says "gives the Theatre Commander the opportunity to have first hand information of the battle space"

Those are the exact words

It does not say:

- Command
- 30 000 men or 100 planes

Eagle command post confirmed for mere observation platform.

You quote the article like it is the word of god? fine, we will take the meaning literally.

You are dodging this question. Tell us why is your eagle showing visuals of videos? That is not what C2 is meant for. Video conferencing is often is often used to compliment C2 but does not mean is a C2. Now answer my question.

Eagle technical specs are classified, you too show us the technical specs of Chaka C2 Equipment as per its communication range, wavelengths, frequencies, interference configurations, satellite band, electromagnetic bandwith, etc

The overall performance of the Eagle is KNOWN and PUBLUSHED on Nigerian defence HQ official website and that is all a wise military will disclose about such sensitive high level command equipment.

"The Eagle Mobile Central Command Post is a vehicle mounted with various Information Communication and Technology equipment. This on board equipment gives the Theatre Commander the opportunity to have first hand information of the battle space. From the vehicle the commander has access to both ground troops and air assets within the battle space.

http://defenceinfo.mil.ng/the-eagle-mobile-central-command-post/

Yes, I can talk about Eagle C2 because its battle field operational performance and the job it can do is disclosed.

Go dïe of burning envy !!!!!

Finito .
Constructed by the man just known as major general Olukoju. This is far worse than low class ticket.

The discussion are like comparing Burundi and the USA about who'S BEST....one military is so backward and rudimentary that it had to be trained by foreign armies to perform. While the other is on top of its best designing, building, selling to foreign international forces its products.

Its so sad when a blind man claims to have seen how the world look like and arguing with a sighted person.
