I agree. Online betting is much better but it also has it's drawbacks because you just keep transfering money from your account directly to the betting site. The key word here is moderation. You need to know when to pause. I call it the Kenny Rogers principle

I disagree, if you want to start betting, don't do it everyday, you can bet 3times a week if you want to.

I have 2 accounts with nairabet and winnersgoldenbet, I funded 250Naira and 1k to these account on the 10th of this month, and as of today, I have over 100k in those 2 accounts despite me withdrawing almost 50k so far that I use for charity work, so, as you can see, I do it for fun..

If you want to bet, bet on a smaller odds, there are many options you can use to generate millions every month.

Do you believe that someone started betting with 5k with 1.10odds daily and made over 7million in 60days with just smaller odds of 1.08 to 1.10.

I used half of the money to buy a new pair of shoe.... and i took the rest the next day!
within 1 hour everything was taken away from me! I felt bad that day and i went back to my hostel. i kept on playing and loosing all my feeding allowances, food money, borrowed money, & hard earned money. The highest money i have ever won was 28k
Last week my uncle decided to send me 100k from USA through western Union and i decided to go and boost some of the money... i keep playing this thing not because i am addicted, but because i thought i can recover all the money i av loosed! and i see some people turn to instant millionares through bet9ja... My mom asked for her money this morning and i told her that i kept it in the bank that i was going to withdraw it from the bank... i went to bet9ja again to see if i can raise it to 15k and give her all the money without any stress. My bro, I don't in anyway support or subscribe to Betting nt the best beters aren't addicted to it. They have control over themselves and their bets and sm r lucky at first attempts. The day dey get addicted dey become d biggest losers. Bt the ish is getting addicted to it is very easy unless ure smart. U hv to learn to count ur losses smtmes and wait for the right time. Not being caught up in trying to win back ur loss cos dat how u lose ur control and addiction starts. Most gamble addicts are basically people hoping to win back their huge loss nt it will Neva happen mostly. If u wana bet then u hv to learn to control it and not it controling u. For now stop it and forget ur loss! Tkcre!

Also note gambling no be job unless u hv sm tricks u apply to win.

That's why i said the key word to adhere to when gambling, like drinking alcohol is moderation. One needs to know when to pause and take stock. And yes i also concur that smaller odds are a safe bet. They may not make you millionaires overnight but a naira here a naira there is better than staking a 100k hoping to make a million. Chances are, you'll lose. Because like they say in casino houses..'the house always wins'.

MrPelumi1,

Firstly, you ruined yourself, not bet9ja..if you had won, you will never say this, we did not hear you when you won 14000 with 1K.

Frankly speaking, you have been undisciplined with your money...you have shattered the number one rule of betting.

"Never place a bet with an amount you cannot afford to lose"

Just as betting can be a quick way to earn money, it can also be an easier way to ruin yourself but you are ultimately responsible for what you chose to yourself.

Just like any risky business, if you embark on it without due caution; the same will happen.
Now that you've lost money, I'll strongly advise that you stop betting @ least, for now. When you eventually learn how to bet, you can continue.

From one I made on one thread;
LaExpert:
INDISCIPLINE
This comes third on the list. Punters alike are usually highly undisciplined. Many punters, after a winning a considerable large sum, the next stake will be almost all the sum won. Eg, someone who has always been staking 200naira on games eventually wins 25000naira, the next thing you'll discover is that the same punter immediately stakes 15000 or even 20000 in the next bet, forgetting that he has been losing before he finally won that amount. Such behaviour show indiscipline and recklessness with money...another common behaviour is that of careless staking immediately after a loss and infact, accumulating more games with the hope of recovering what was lost, but I can tell you, such immediate recovery bets usually ends up red largely due to the fact that there aren't properly analysed. Another point here is the stakes of punters. It is no longer news that many punters stake what they cannot afford to lose, I have seen someone staking a game with a borrowed sum of money...which later went red, and leaving the fellow indebted. Betting can ruin you more easily than it can help you earn a fortune. Learn to stake only what you can afford to lose, no matter the circumstance

You should have pulled out when your eyes were made clear like DSTV.
Our creator has given us the ability to control our emotions. VANITY UPON VANITY
"....If you encounter difficulties in a gamble, it becomes harder to pull out-you realise that the stakes are too high: you cannot afford to lose. People are drawn into gambles by their emotions: THEY SEE ONLY THE GLITTERING PROSPECTS IF THEY WIN AND IGNORE THE OMINOUS CONSEQUENCES IF THEY LOOSE. Taking risks is essential: gambling is foolhardy...."

Rule number 1: There's no such thing as luck when it comes to sport betting, it's all about skills!
Rule number 2: Never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on any given bet
Rule number 3: If your first two bets results in a loss, take a minimum of 1 week away from the game and do your research. Most bettors lost more money after a bad beat!
Rule number 4: Never bet on borrowed money! I repeat never!
Rule number 5: Stay away from parlays and teasers until you actually know what you are doing!
Rule number 6: Stick to sports you are very familiar with, you have no business betting tennis when all you know is football!
Rule number 7: Know when to quit. Sport betting is not for everyone, most people are investors while few are winners!

Olamide, lilkesh, phyno and crazeclown supports it as been ambassadors to this bet companys!
I took 30k from the 100k my uncle sent to me to the bet shop last week and everything wooped away. i went to withdraw another 30k... it all went within the twinkle of an eye again... i went ahead t
o withdraw the last 40k and i only had 1k left to go back home. it sounds like i am the biggest fool of all time , but till now i cannot explain the spirit that pushed me to do so. I was just regreting and there was nothing more i could do.
Today Tought me the lesson of my Life! on wednesday my mom gave me 15k to keep for her when she travelled to ilorin she told me she was going to come back next week monday... so on thursday again, i was forced to go and play this thing.. i said within myself that i wont play with more than N1000 no matter the case only to find myself loosing the whole money as usual. then unfortunately, my mom called me that she was coming home on friday that i should get the money ready as she needs it to fuel her car and buy stuffs as she was going for a wedding i couldnt tell her anything because she trusted me and that is the only reason she gave me the money to keep! i started sending out messages to all friends on facebook 90% ignored me probably because i had one issue or another with them, i started selling all i had ...pages, groups, i even sold my phone at 3k just to raise money. finally i was able to raise N7000 ... My mom asked for her money this morning and i told her that i kept it in the bank that i was going to withdraw it from the bank... i went to bet9ja again to see if i can raise it to 15k and give her all the money without any stress. Everything went again as usual. That was when i knew that i am addicted and it is more like a curse i can break.

All i need is ADVICE! Should i forget all the money i have lost!

Later I had a chat with one of their rep and the live rep was asking me whether I was addiction problems with betting . Na then my brain wake up ooo
You've got to know when to hold 'em Know when to fold 'em Know when to walk away And know when to run---The Gambler.
