I got a friend request from on Facebook from Austin (real name withheld) in March 2012. I reluctantly accepted the requested because I am careful who I relate with on social media. But then, we got talking and got quite close. He was always there. Chatted me every evening and asked me how my day went. He became like a best friend, though we were apart. He asked for my phone number after about 2 weeks of us chatting on Facebook and I obliged. At this point he was already like someone I have known all my life. He called me every morning and evening. I got to speak with his mum and sister and within 1 month of our being friends, he was already talking marriage. I was a bit suspicious at first and did not trust him so I took him unserious.
