Congrats Graham.... received my visa grant this afternoon as well 573, I think after Graham got his. Lodged on the 27th of Nov, got to Pretoria on the 3rd of Dec and a decision was made today. Am so happy but don't know how to express it, the long wait has really made me weak, but the wait was worth it. Thanks Gurus in da building, you guys were really helpful... STaviez I can't wait to hear your good news soonest, and everyone expecting theirs.

@kessel, what happened to your nursing certificate? Can't you use that to migrate to Australia?

Things that has advantage can be a disadvantage too. After going thru hell to get that license,I will still go and spend months and money reading again and spending money before I can sit for foreign exams and still wait for God knows how long before I get a visa. I jus concluded it wld be better to forget the license for now.and further my life thru other means and if I see a good nursing job along the way,fine but if not.... I love being a nurse but not in Nig.
I applied to a hospital in Enugu and they told me my salary was going to be 35k a month...after 6yrs in school with 3 certificates......hmm
I just need to leave this country weather with nursing or waec..I don't mind

Since you failed to frontload your medicals before lodgement, you have to wait for directives from Pretoria usually through email.

Thanks people. Oh well. I'm due to resume February 29. I submitted January 4th no mail yet to go for Medicals. I was totally ignorant of getting to do it before the application

Pretoria has a heavy backlogs of applications, thus the Visa processing delay. Wait to hear from them.

I will advice u to relate with ur agent on this issue to contact the sku or if u are running the offer by ur self contact ur sku to ask for extension either one week or two weeks. i am saying this because i applied on the 11th january and my orientation begins on the 22nd february while class begins 29th february so my agent will be contacting my sku for a week extension or two weeks to either miss the orientation and possibly a week of class. this she said the have been applying for those having delay in visa. so i will say, do that and hear ur sku reply and keep the faith alive, it could still come out before due date.

that your friend that submitted on 17th Dec is it Lagos or Abuja office?
