Visit a friend last year,there bills is per room in the house .you will see each bills by the door sides and the amount owing them but in some areas the light could be for hours but still "na two days off one days on "

Whenever we see stable supply of light in my area,just know that its month end,they will bring their bill any time from then,once the bill is passed around,rationing starts again..if Alagbede get light in the morning,kilanko will have the light at night.

I love NEPA


I don't know if the guy in charge of my area lost their office keys.... For a week and 4 days, we have steady light, No blinking, No off and on .... Unlike those days wey dem go de flash us n be giving us plenty missed calls 4 our bulb

Anyways, I'm expecting cute Twins from my wife and she'd probably put to bed in the new few months.

The only way to solve our electricity problem. ..is by make it a competition like telecommunication company. ..u will hv the option to chose

Confession: lived in an estate once, the flats are joined, so u can enter the ceiling from your flat and enter the next flat. The wiring is in the ceilings, I have been paying N1000 to the NEPA guys whenever they came, until once they refused collecting and insist I clear the debts which has now pilled up. After they disconnected me, I entered the ceiling from my flat and tapped light from the next flat.

Within months their bill became so outrageous, I over heard the dad telling his family to always switch off the light, even off the deep freezer chai. I didn't pay NEPA bill for close to a year. The way the man quarrels NEPA officials every time then ehn.

Lol. I remember that time when our transformer get problem for 3month when one unfortunate nepa staff carry bill come our area, the beating wey d guy chop eh, you go pity am.

We need to clean up these institutions. I heard that peeps have already started tamperingnwith he prepaid meters.

That can only be do be in connivance with a nepa official. We ned reorientation in his country. Starting from the top.


The gov't has to try and give monitored prepaid meters. Nobody needs to go about cutting light. Just buy your card and pay your bills. What's the big deal. If phone and data companies can do it.


The issue is unconfirmed bills. They estimate and give to you. You pay and they chop.

Nigerians we need to start afresh not for our sakes but our children's sakes.
