In our office we use inverter because they always bring the light in the midnight and before we reach office the next it is 100% charge. NEPA are unreliable.

Confession: lived in an estate once, the flats are joined, so u can enter the ceiling from your flat and enter the next flat. The wiring is in the ceilings, I have been paying N1000 to the NEPA guys whenever they came, until once they refused collecting and insist I clear the debts which has now pilled up. After they disconnected me, I entered the ceiling from my flat and tapped light from the next flat.

Within months their bill became so outrageous, I over heard the dad telling his family to always switch off the light, even off the deep freezer cheesy chai. I didn't pay NEPA bill for close to a year. The way the man quarrels NEPA officials every time then ehn.
YOU BE CONFIRM ORIGINAL BAD GUY!

Sometimes, I detest seeing these people that parade themselves as "NEPA". Imagine one SSCE holder feeling like a god, all because he holds one plier that can render a whole street "lightless". And dem corrupt pass corruption itself.

I haven't seen power in 3 straight days now and by Wednesday, bills will come. I recently installed an inverter sysyem in my apartment and it has been a lot bearable, at least I can sleep at night and watch tv guaranteed at nights when I get home after a busy day...right now, I am advocating 4 a prepaid meter since it does no longer make sense to be paying estimated bills anymore...i'm constantly outside myhouse 12hours weekly and yet I don't use direct power when I get home....na martins street neighbourhood I dey 4 ojuelegba road of surulere....

To bad, here in Manila there is constant light 24/7...... We Nigerians are the reason for our suffering. We need to change our attitude first before we can change the situation.

Joavid:
the part I hate is the outrageous bills. like seriously, those people charge you based on your area.

how they come about those bills, I don't know cos its definitely not according to what the metre reads. heck! I don't think we have a metre.

and its no longer PHCN, its IKDC - Ikeja distribution company. don't even know what's new.

the same IKEDC that gives us 23/24hours electricity here?
