I want to do something really special for my boo this valentine's. He's a really good man, and after being home for a while after many years away, I have realized just what African men have to go through every day. The story long o, I'm sure you all know if you just spend an hour on Nairaland you can weep for the men of this generation... Una don suffer well well.

It didn't take me long to realize what a good man God has given me and I don't want to be the only one constantly being made to feel special. I already have an idea what I would like to do for him.. but it can't hurt to make it better. Of course every guy is different, but what would you want your woman to do for you this val's? What would make you feel really special, loved, and like "the man"?

Or u could just take him out to see the movies or to a good restaurant.

If that's too expensive then get him a brief/boxers with ur name on it.

Chai, all the silly responses. Should probably have asked this in Family. I think I will stick to my plans.. thank you all.

@Midehi2, here, steal some ideas: he has hinted lately that he is super tired and just wants to go somewhere and relax. Since it's the weekend, I got him a ticket to somewhere I could afford. His boss is a friend so I secured Friday and Monday off and will surprise him with that.. for the day itself, brunch, cologne and a watch, he keeps talking about Patek Philippe but I Googled the price once and just flipped my laptop shut.. can't afford that (yet, lol) so I got something much cheaper that I think was a bit tasteful, as well as a funny picture for his desk talking about how amazing his beard is.

Maybe we'll do some WINDOW shopping (this has been expensive so far o!) and I'll give a short speech about how amazing he is. short because i no wan bore him. He is the romantic, sunset, gazing at the stars type and I always protest that it's cold but maybe I will do the 1km walk with fruits thanks @Yaqq

@STFUAreYouGod, thanks for the tip and no the boxers would not be the only thing.. as I mentioned, I would implement these ideas in addition to what I'm already planning.. it's not like I would show up with boxers and think I conquered the world.
