I'm a batch B15 (stream 1) corp member, posted to Taraba state on October 28th 2015. I opened an account with UBA on camp and the account details was sent to me day after leaving camp. (November 17th). I redeployed to Delta state and reported at the secretariat on November 18th, 2015.
Till now, I haven't received my December & January allowances. Majority of my friends whom we redeployed to various states together have been paid duly, which leaves me to wonder what i did that they didn't do. I've called & called., sent messages too; from the accountant to state coordinator (Taraba). Yes, I got across to them.
The officials here said there's nothing they can do to help. I've exhausted all avenues, even tweets to @nysc_ng aren't responded to. This plea goes to the authorities in charge to help facilitate my allowances. Moderators., I'll appreciate front page for wider audience & contributions. Thank you.

Please, The State Zonal coordinator should come to her help to get this issue resolved and I beleive that other kind media houses like Channels, AIT and others should get the NYSC Director to call Taraba zonal coordinator to have her salary sent ASAP.

My sister, just be patient, we shall do all things to get this issue resolved. If within days nothing is done, I will contact the media houses on this.

OP u made a mistake by opening ur bank acct in Taraba State when u know that u will redeploy after the 3weeks camping. The problem is that your account details with NYSC will be reading Taraba while u are in delta,So without doing ur monthly clearance in Taraba,so the NYSC Taraba will be taking you as a ghost corps member.You need to open another bank account in Delta State cox NYSC bank account is not like any other public bank acct until u end ur service year.U also need to go to NYSC Taraba or NYSC HQTR Abuja to ratify the account problem,cox they may be believeing u are one of the ghost corper in Taraba State. But OP most times NYSC do own corpers who redeployed upto 3 months allowance or more before paying them.But be rest assured that NYSC will never "take" ur allowee,they must pay u before u leave ur service year.

This isnt the fault of the Z.I "zonal coordinator" Let the OP go to Asaba were they have the NYSC State secretariat as in State HQTR and complain to the account section.

dearie, we were told to open an account so that our allowances will be paid into it before the new state will take over. majority of us that redeployed did that & most have been paid accordingly. something's wrong somewhere.. i agree but going to taraba?? those that hv been paid didnt go back to taraba for clearance. i honestly dunno where this is coming from because i diligently did all my paper works before leaving & even when i got here. i appreciate your inputs

guy m also batch b strm 1 nd I did nt redeploy,,,m currently serving in Abuja nd I ve not bin payed Dec nd Jan allawee till now,,,wat dey re telling me is to wait till dy approve our complain b4 dey can pay us

seriously?? what's baffling is, most of us who redeployed together av been confirming their payments. when i spoke with him, he said it's due to TSA & its from cbn. same thing the accountant said. so you can know the extent I've gone on this issue. it's pathetic

Hey, your allowances should be with them in Taraba. Why not call the Taraba State Coordinator and complain to him. I'm sure he's going to help you or better still, refer you to the person who will. Here is his number 08037246098.

Am late i guess, keep pestering Taraba state coordinator and accountant and ur state coordinator. Try get their audience on twitter, dont mind dos that said it doesn't work. Lastly, message that official NYSC facebook account privately , i was surprised they replied me during batch B15 build up and supplied me with some of those key info i gave then. IGNORE those that wanna mock ur predicament esp dos that are yet to sing the NYSC anthem. You can never fully understand how comfortable Aso rock villa is until you become Nigerian president.
