Earlier today in the morning, my Boss Sent the receptionist to one of the banks (UBA) at Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos, to make a deposit of N50,000. The receptionist headed straight to the bank, and while inside the bank a well dressed man who acted as one of the bank officials walked up to Him and asked if he wants to make any deposit. The receptionist replied Yes, and the man asked Him to bring his deposit slip and money so he could make the deposit for him. And that was the end of it as the receptionist couldn't realise when this heartless Man left the banking hall... It was recorded that the Man (dupe) spent less than 10minutes in the bank.

Below is the screen shot of the man as captured on the CCTV camera.

Please if you'v got any contact of this criminal be it in the past or future, kindly contact me via my email (xcozee11@yahoo.com), any UBA branch or report to the nearest police station.

Let's Remain vigilant, Sharp and enlighten others. God Help us.

They blurred out his ID card though. The police might need to visit the bank to interrogate the security team who printed out the cctv photograph. You can start the investigation from there. If they say the image has been deleted then they can be all arrested for aiding criminality. Dont loose any suspect, even the manager cant be exempted now.

Show blurred image to ur boss cos d bank tried to play a sharp one, they might know the suspect thereby covering his tracks.

This issue is getting rampant. I want to know if it is the bank manager that reported this case because I know the copy of the captured evidence from the CCTV won't be released without his consent. This similar case happened at Access bank, Lagos road ikorodu three weeks ago, a sum of 370,000 was collected by a security man who claimed to be and dressed like others. U won't believe the manager is yet to release the copy to the people. He said he can only release it for a police officer. The police officer who the case was reported to said they are afraid of releasing it. You can imagine the level of impunity in this country. However the case has extended beyond what the bank and the police station thought because the owner has called for a lawyer and the letter has been forwarded to the attorney general of police, commissioner for commerce, ministry of justice, tajudeen ojuelegba of bond FM and the copies has been delivered to the bank manager and the police station
I wonder when corruption will get vanished in this country. Police officers who are meant to restore civic right that has been cheated are found wanting. All the so called bank managers are not doing their job! Naija.. .

The receptionist should be interrogated by the police. She might be trying to defraud her employer by making this claim.

The receptionist is a very stupid guy. Why would he give someone the money ? Cos he can't queue right? I hope they will never find the man so as to teach him a lesson. Your boss should deduct it from his salary. Omugo . undecided

Sorry for the sarcasm, not making fun of the victim.
But to be candid, she guffed big time, she had probably doesn't want to stay too long maybe that was why she fell prey to that THIEF!

I hope the guy meets his waterloo very soon because no one deserves to be duped. cry
I agree with you.In addition to the 'dupist' meeting his Waterloo, or as part of his Waterloo that face should be shown on all TV stations(NTA should display his face during commercial break of network news) as cooperate social responsibility by the ststions.Let everybody see his face, all his friends will recognize him,he will have no place to hide ,he won't be able to walk around in the day.We must discourage this nonsense in our society.
