He wants to kill competitors. Sell at lower prices than even the imported prices of other competitors, send them out of business and later increase his own price.

You don't understand what he is doing, what dangote event is doing is called market control/price monopoly. Reduce price as production capacity increases. With time, other competitors such as Lafarge and Ibeto, won't be able to cope cos their production capacity is lower than that of dangote. With time, he will drive them out using price and when they are completely out, he will enjoy sole monopoly and can now fix price as e deems fit since there is no rival in the market. We should just be careful.

This news is definitely fake. Dangote cement is been sold for 1400,for almost 2 months now . While other brands are been sold for 1300.
the price was even reduced to 1000 naira and that is why the retail price is 1300-1400

Guess this is stale news. The last Cement I bought was got at 1300. And that was 2 weeks ago. Please tell us something new.

i don't sell any price reduction here because I've been buying for 1350 since late last year. Maybe it's an old news.

There is nothing like unhealthy way. If you are financially buoyant enough to muscle your competitor out of the market with with price or quality then you can do it provided you do it legally. Dstv enjoys the monopoly because of their financial muscle,there is no law that stipulates against any new company joining the market. But you will have to compete with dstv in terms of pricing and quality

Giant cement manufacturer, Dangote cement has slashed the price of its cement varieties as a result of its economy of scale occasioned by the recent introduction of new production lines in Okpella Edo State and Itori in Ogun State worth nine million metric tonnes,

If I need capital for expansion,I don't go rob a bank,I would rather float the business or look for more investors,simple.
