Starsparklel:You seem in a rush, why's that? Don't you see how dire their point is. You shouldn't have proceeded with re-applying within such little space of time without being ready to carefully address the issues raised in the first refusal. To tell you the truth you gave them good reasons to doubt your intentions especially with the tax certificate discrepancies which is quite huge a red flag. They've also withheld the rights to admin review. I would suggest you take a break from them, and get your documents and personal circumstances tight. You probably shouldn't bother reapplying until minimum 6 - 12 months from now. That also gives you ample time to reflect and rectify your presentation, and put together your evidences in a more convincing manner. Besides, you don't want to come across as desperate. The questions you've asked are ones you alone can answer. You know where the funds are coming from, why discrepancies exist... You need not only explain them clearly next time, but also provide compelling evidence that is believable and provable. Your cousin should consider writing you a letter you can add to your application, explaining how you're actually related (lineage, first/second cousin, pictures together if available...) so you can support it with a paragraph as well in your additional info section in your next application. Why is it difficult to prove you own your company? Isn't your name on the business registration and other docs from CAC? You've got the answers with you, take a moment and process... Good luck! |

Thanks alot that's helpful.. I'll do as u say..one more clarity, do I need the company profile like acc statement explaining the money transfer(I dont think they can release that to to) , because it was transfered back to the companys acc,my acc was used for this transaction becaise at that time the money needed to be transferred from a corporate acc..and his acc was a savings account.. Bank policy.. So I was the only one he could trust to send his money tru my acc. Secondly I'm to pay my income tax for this year along side get my company tax certificate, dor 2015. and the amount I am paying is less than I stated in my first application.. 80000 to be precise. Honestly it's what it is for year 2015 tax because of the nature of my business. ,now do I need to keep up with the act of earning 150000 for the sake of this visa inordered for it to tally with the old application, even though it's a totally fresh applications... Pls I indulge ur reply and suggestions once more.. Thank u all for the help. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Vicjustice: 9:40pm On Feb 10, 2016 |
abnot:Under normal circumstances, you can not get a tourist visa if you are less than one year in an employment for these two reasons: (1) The employment is not yet sustained because in labour law, you have to be at least 1 year in a job in order to be fully protected against abrupt termination of employment. (2) The visa officer needs (at least) a year's tax clearance in order to evaluate the job's worth. |

Please can anyone assist with other fees paid at VAC for application submission. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by abnot: 1:30am On Feb 11, 2016 |
Vicjustice:I don't agree with you on this because the ECO's have a decision guide (appendix V: UK immigration rules for visitors and general grounds for refusal document) available on the UK government immigration website where this clause is not mentioned. In fact people without jobs/tax info do apply for entry clearance and some are found eligible |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Rihannaola(f): 2:03am On Feb 11, 2016 |
abnot:I agree, as I have received visas whilst being barely 3 months at a new job. On the other hand, Vicjustice may be implying you have better chances if you've held your job for 1 year or more - sense of stability, and of course, the presentation of your income tax cert (if you can't give a good reason why you haven't one). |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Rihannaola(f): 2:14am On Feb 11, 2016 |
fehinebony:Appears to be an error as minimum visa issued is 6months, except in sensitive circumstances. But then, the duration of stay should have been stated, in this case 43 days, which was assumably omitted. You might want to have that rechecked in good time, hence why it's often advised to check your visa before leaving the VAC so if errors exist (spelling of names, visa category, duration etc), it can be attended to asap and resent where required. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Vicjustice: 9:28am On Feb 11, 2016 |
abnot:Not every reason for visa refusal is on the written "decision guide", in fact, the vast reasons are based on the ECO's own judgements. Now, applying for a tourist visa with a new job that hasn't proven its sustainability is a major factor for refusal "under normal circumstances", however, the ECO has the power to use his/her own initiative to decide whether the person is deemed deserving a visa or not. |

Starsparklel: You are not qualified to be given a visiting visa because you can't afford that trip. Money and tax certificate you presented are built up Just to get a visa because they did not reflect your true economic and social conditions. Note this statement in VO's refusal letter: I am aware that document such as these are readily available in Nigeria... My advice to you is ..give it a break for now until your circumstances change significantly |

fehinebony:He or she has to enter UK anyway between 2nd Feb to 15th of March. I think length of stay might be determined at point of entry. To clear all doubts, u can email UKBVA before traveling. |

Learning more and more every day. I have a tax card from 2013 but each expired yearly but this year own card is not ready for collection. My question.... should I print the ones that has expired(water marked) written on it or I should just include d tax cards? Or I should just ignore d 2 options since its indicated on my monthly pay slip(tax deducted) Justwise Abnot Vicjustice |

Simplesoul05: Are you applying as an employee or a business owner? If you are an employee to a company your payslip should show that and you wont need to submit the tax card 1 Like |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by abnot: 11:01am On Feb 11, 2016 |
ifyalways: That law only appears to US and a few other countries but not UK. By UKVI rules you have to leave before the visa expires else you would have overstayed which is a breach of the immigration rules and may affect future applications. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Rihannaola(f): 2:00pm On Feb 11, 2016 |
abnot:Then if you aren't too far from the VAC and no update comes from Teleperformance by noon tomorrow, you might want to consider going to check. They're often having issues with updating statuses on their webpage. Just give it a try should they not have responded by then. |
