Once you download, copy the file that suits your box and then upgrade.

Guide on how to upgrade your decoder


You must have a stable electricity, if your electricity is not stable, please use an inverter or a generator

You must use only a virus free USB flashdrive( to be sure of this, you can format the usb drive before you copy the file into it)

Once you download any file, you are required to copy only the .bin file to your flashdrive.

It is worthy of note that your qsat need not be connected to the internet throughout the upgrading process

Once you have met the above requirements, please plugin your usb to your qsat, on your remote now press MENU>>UPGRADE>>USB / UPGRADE, select the file you copied to your usb earlier and click on ok to start the process. Once the process is completed, your decoder will reboot that is all

Do you have space to install a big dish in your house?

All those channels would be received best using a motorised 1.8m dish.

if not, get a 130cm dish add C band Lnbf to it, inplace of ku band.
Track Nss 20 degrees west. Almost same position with canalsat afrique
Thats all.

Alternatively, if you have a 90cm dish, get a conical ring to boost your Lnbf, add a Cband Lnbf, then track the satellite

I have a Qsat Q23G decoder and my account on it has expired. How do i get things working again? I am aware i need to buy a spycam account to put in my qsat but after this what next?
