Pls house.. I've been refused visa twice as I earlier stated, my question is, if am applying for another visa be it in a years time,do I still need to bring up the reasons for the past refusal in a separate letter there by providing evidence to substantiate my claim Thank u.. @Vjustices @worry365 and at all the honorable members I look forward to hearing from you all.thank u.

Somewhere on the application form it usually asks for past refusals.
Whatever happens you MUST state the previous refusals and the reason (although they will have records of the full details.)
Failure to mention them will be considered as fraud and can bring a long ban.

If you want to send excuses then keep it short and concise. A long winded rambling account will not be read.

You don't necessarily have to state your past refusals in a separate letter. You'll come across this question while filling the online application form. " Have you been refused a UK visa or any other visa" then you can state the countries and explain truthfully.

It is just an integrity test. Lying about your past visa refusals is considered a serious immigration offence that could even lead to a life ban.

Yes, so refer to the refusal reasons stated in the letter and address each in concise paragraphs so you don't confuse them more. Back it up with evidences you've been able to acquire and explain how your circumstances have changed since your last application. Lastly give them a concrete reason why they should favorably consider your application.
And this is for you, make sure you don't overstay even for 2 days after the duration mentioned you require, cause at that point already, they've got their eyes on you, and you need to "earn" their trust.
Avoid these company vs personal account transfers and confusions especially if you can't explain it clearly. As they've said, it's a personal trip, hence they are equally focused on your personal bank statements. Don't make huge lodgements you can't clarify or don't have evidence for its existence. And be as honest as possible, otherwise, same issues will arise with conflicting discrepancies in your application vs your presented documents.
Best of luck.

Hello

For those who have used VI office what's the lead time for booking appointments.
That is if I submit today what dates would be available for appointments to submit form and biometrics...is it a week or two weeks.

Any ideas anyone

Just trying to factor timelines

The appointment portal is most times open for next day or two for biometrics with exceptions during peak periods eg summer

The hotel I booked via booking.com just cancelled my booking and I have already filled in there details on my application and going for submitting this new week. What should I do?

It has been said hundreds of times!
Hotels will not hold a booking without payment for very long. They are fed up of people making false bookings for visa applications and not arriving or paying.
Some just cancell after so long (it will be on their conditions.)
Some take a deposit which may or may not be refundable.

Simplesoul05 Your way forward is simple, book another hotel. Pay attention to their conditions and check the booking before going for visa.

You must have used a wrong billing address when booking that's why it got cancelled.
If you have already submitted your application with the said hotel name and info, I'd suggest you book same hotel again because you will have to attach a copy of the hotel reservation with other documents.
All you have to hope for now is that the stated amount will be same when you book again.
All the best.
Cheers

Yes you can change $ to £ @Heathrow. Look for Travelex at the airport.

So UKVI Sheffield emailed me on Feb 10 to say "a decision has been made" and TLSContact emails me on Feb 15 to say "Your UK visa application has been received by UK Visas & Immigration and will now be processed in accordance with published timelines" . Lol
Wonder who is giving the realtime information here... Teleperformance seems to be be updating one week later than they should

Good day all. please I need your advice. I am to go uk in 3 months for a training sponsored by my company. I have been refused visa for this same training some years back even though my company provided their account statement and a letter saying they would sponsor me. The company organizing the training also sent an invite letter which I included in my application. The reason for my refusal was because my account statement did not look good. And currently it still doesn't look good because I send money regularly to a friend to save for me. I've heard that if my friend transfers the money to me now it could be considered as money lodgement. Please is there anything I can do. I am also considering including my pension account statement if that would help. Thanks.

You are likely to be denied for the same reason . Why not build your account for the next three months and then apply
