Nairalanders, my Cousin's friend and the fiancee are planning their wedding and as required by the church, they had to do some medical tests, genotype inclusive. Tests were done and was discovered that both are AS. 2 months to the wedding day. Introduction had been done. What can he do?

Stop the marriage, if you love him or her, there is 50% chance of giving birth to a sickler and save the future children from suffering. although there is nothing greater than God.

in this case SS can or will be guareented...just let them follow their heart or in religious way they can fast and pray about it.

So adults still don't know their genotype until the church asks them, I bet they didn't do Hiv tests too until the church asked for it.

Pls tell them to sit down and weigh the options. If they still decide to marry, let them see a fertility doctor asap, and know what can be done so they don't bring an ss child into this world and start regretting it.

Simply direct them to a thread created on nairaland about a fortnight ago.
A couple that are married, have a son and only just discovered their bundle of joy is an SS(both couples are also AS).
Their son has started having crises attacks, has a direct result of his genotype!!!!
