Yes I have. Some years back

I had just #50 that day. Bought a Superglue for #20 to use in holding the sole of my palm slippers that was threatening to laugh all the way home as I trekked along. You wouldn't believe I pressed the glue until the metal became flat like my teenage chest, yet all I got for my effort was a slight breeze packaged in it.

Remembering that Obiamaka may be outside when I passed by with my grinning slippers, I bought another one. I shook it very well but it was hard separating the sound of liquid from the stupid needle banging on the small metal tube and the useless plastic wrap which is big enough to cost #20 sef.

I just applied the useless air on the palm anyway along with the drop of spit the manufacturers put in it. Upon I hammered the palm slippers with the aboki's padlock, the slippers let me understand that I have exhausted the #400 I spent to buy it. I had to remove the sole on one of the slipper and walk home like a person havng one leg shorter than the other.

Thank God she wasn't outside. I may have died.

I was scammed of $3000(three
thousand dollar) my hard earned money in 2011.
By a facebook frnd and another guy frm naijaloaded the time naijaloaded was a forum.
They really tried cos I fell for the scam without thinking twice.
It is about transfering money from liberty reserve account[RIP to liberty reserve, may d owner rot in jail] to paypal and then into another liberty reserve.
I was made to beliv dat when I transfered little interest would be on it.
I tried $500 first and made $30 the first day.transfering to and fro.
Later I was pushed to try bigger amount so the interest would be much.
I did and that was how my $3k entered one chance like dis regime we dey.
I almost run mad.
Sara frye- the thunder wey go fire you just dey grow up o.
gcoded- i knw say we go meet for heaven sha.
Since then I tried to help people frm being scammed.
And I bursted many scammers like bright esiuke.
Till now I still never recover.
And I do run frm some certain people frm seeing me.
One of my fb frnd named dr fiverr saw it dat I was about to be scammed bt he refused to caution me just because he want to sell his own lr funds.

On this faithful day, solomon eleghe came to my office to see his friend, he introduce an job offer (FAAN) to her, and side within 6hours she should try and get the sum of 150k for the guy who will process it.
My colleague could not raise the cash, and she turned to me, and ask if i was interested?
i said YES, BUT I ASKED WHY 150K?(because THE MONEY WAS SMALL) solomon replied and said the man is a dirctor in presidency, that he didnt really need our money, but is a form of saying thank you.

At this point i tried assesing him......he his driving a toyota jeep, vrey clean man, and talks like someone that as the fear of GOD.
My colleague told me they ve been friend for so many years, so i felt like am in aself hand.

to cut everything short........solomon ran aways with my money, till now am still looking for him. he threw away the fifteen years friendship because of 150k.
i traced him to his chuch in CHRIST EMBASSY @ kubwa, only to find out that he had also defraud the unit head of his home cell the sum of 700,000k.

At this juncture i knew i can never get my money back.

Two times I can remember.

1st time - This happened in 95/96. I was on my way to my sixth form college but decided to go see my friend in the hood. He was an up and coming guy man and I wanted to see if he had any new 090 fire lines. I alighted from the bus and as I walked towards his house, I saw 2 chaps playing table tennis.

As I walked past the players, one of them called out to me; egbon shey ele ba wa count scores (can you help keep scores). I was in no hurry and enjoyed watching table tennis so I obliged.

The game carried on and one of them was so terrible it was embarrasing. Game ended something like park-2. The really rubbish player brought out a wad of cash and gave it to the chap who won. The winner was the same one that called out to me.

I made to leave but the winner called out to me and walked alongside with me. He told me (in yoruba) that the other chap was an ibo boy who had stolen thousands from his dad and was gambling it all away. He advised that I bet on a game with him and I was sure to double my money.

Even though I was a below average player, having seen how rubbish the ibo boy was, I didnt hesitate. We walked back to the tennis board. The yoruba boy suggested I give the ibo boy 15 ahead to entice him. I agreed cause the ibo boy was really rubbish. I laid allthe money I had on me. I think it was N50 but cant be sure. What I can remember was that it was just enough to take me to school and back.

I started the game with the 1st of my 5 serves. The previously rubbish ibo boy returnes it with a back handed smash, 0-16 shocked. I was shook but I thought to myself, ah a fluke return. 2nd service, same thing, 3rd service, fore hand smash from the ibo boy, 0-18.

cry My eyes turned red as It started to dawn on me that I had been scammed. I dropped my bat, turned to my fellow yoruba boy who I believed to be my ally and said I wasnt playing again. He shook his head and with respect he replied 'ah, egbon eti bet' (You cant go back on a bet after the game has started)

I picked up my bat and tried to salvage the situation with 2 iká services but the ibo boy was so good he won the points, 0-20 cantab! The boy then finished me off with 2 robó agbeti services.

I left the table in shame and walked to my friends house a short distance away. I knocked on the gate for minutes but there was no response. My day just became worse. I had no money and there was no way I could make it to school. Tears started to roll down my eyes as I began my 4km walk back home.
I lovedddddddddddddddddd this! My best scam story so far and your delivery was top notch.

My own scamming experience ...I'm not even sure what to call it.

One day, I entered a bus, I was coming back from the bank. I sat in the front with a guy, the bus fare was only about #50, and the man offered to pay for me. I said thank you and we gisted. He seemed like a nice guy!

He came down in the bus stop before mine own, there's an eatery opposite the bus stop, He asked if I wanted to come to the eatery and chat with him. I said ok.

When we got in there, he wanted to order for me, but I refused, wasn't really hungry, so we just sat and started talking.

He told me that he just got back from the visa office, he got his visa and would be travelling out soon. He said his parents told him to marry before he leaves. He said he would like me to marry him.

I said , I wasn't interested, I was not looking to marry and we just met. So I got up to leave.

He grabbed my purse from my hand ooh and started begging me to marry him, there was money in my purse ( not a lot, less than #500). I said give me my purse I want to leave.

He refused oooh, saying I must agree to marry him and introduce him to my parents right now. He started screaming, saying I must marry him.

People were just looking, Shame started catching me. The more I was demanding for my purse, the more he was shouting that I must marry him ooh.

I decided to walk down and call the Okada men to come ooh, it was my area and I knew some of them.

I came back with one Okada man but the man had disappeared.

The money in the purse wasn't too much and there was nothing else in it. The purse was really old and worn out.

So i did not lose much, but this was the most confusing event in my life.

The okada men said it was a scammer.
I found your experience rather scary. Do you just walk off with a total stranger just because he paid your tfare? Even getting off a bus stop before your destination? Gurlllllllll! Don't do that again oh!

I was scam six month ago by my then course mate using GNLD as a platform.
I was working with a company were I earn 40k and she came up with the usual blablabla that he can help me get a job with the company she work with. That I would earn over 100k as a new staff. I was call few days later to travel fown to Lagos from Benin for my interview only to findout that there was nothing like work for me. Meanwhile I have resigned from the little 40k job.
I was told to register with 12k which I did
I was delayed in Lagos for a week before I was told it's GNLD. I was fooled to take a step by paying 130k to start my business so I can start making profit which I also did. Only to find out that I'm now a street saleman of GNLD product. I have not sold anything when they started pressurizing me to bring other of my friends for them. That was when my eye opened.

@Atlantian Can you share your experience with us How your friend scammed you. it might help alot of people like me as am planning to start a biz with a friend.Thank You
The first case was a friend of mine saying he has auction dealership license in the US, he came to Nigeria and we eat together and I know his parents, so once he got back to the US, i wired him cash to help me buy 2 cars , high end cars, and till today, he doesnt pick my calls. Reported to the parents and they said the guy admitted taking my cash but that he spent it. Now he is a junky.

Second one is where I can say its my greed. I was invited to invest some millions in powder business, actually illegal, and that if I put in a certain millions in naira, I will make a million dollars. They take me to a meeting in a beautiful 4 star hotel owned by the brother of my friend and that is all they do for a living, making billions. After I put in the millions, they told me consignment was caught my NDLEA on arrival. Me wey don dey plan how to invest 5 billion naira of my proceeds in factories that time. There was nothing i could do. I couldnt go to police cos it was illegal venture.

I was heart broken after these scams, and i actually shed tears and ask...."God give me so much money that I can tell these my so called friends, that I dash them the cash they dupe me. Within a year, I became a man that could give out 15m on charity without feeling sad.

Lesson: "Any money you can not throwaway, do not give to friends on business and any business you can not control at least 99%, that has no agreement, do not even listen to it."
