That is common sense Budget allocation

The SW is home to most Nigerians, it is only right that it gets the lion's share

The SW is bombarded by immigration from other parts of the country , especially the SE, so the government has to provide more infrastructure for the region to take care of the emigrants

Excellent Talk. The kind of commonsense talk that Obama look alike cant give.

With the whole of naija and everyone's distant relatives in Lagos - SW deserves 80% of Nigerian budget.

Very nice budget.

Don't worry something will soon happen.

You think people are Fools?

You think that you guys can continue to treat people this Bad forever

Implosion is imminent.

Soon the liberals still sitting on the fence will join and then there will be nothing you or anybody will do.

Anarchy is coming, so continue supporting evil, cheating and injustice.

There is zilch you can do about it apart from shouting like a constipated man on the internet

Like someone enlightened you earlier, oil money is not used for funding capital projects. I doubt you even understand what that means

And some will open their smelly mouth and say some people are not being marginalised. One Nigeria, true federalism indeed!

At least they tried small for South South, the South Easterners will always find their way.

Modified: its 29 billion and not 2.9 billion.

One Nigeria, here we come.

Zombies, jump off Niger bridge please, thanks.

Fashola!

The Minister should realize that he's not the Minister of Lagos but Minister of Nigeria. He should kindly be Nationalistic in his view.

You forgot that Lagos-Ibadan road only will be taken over 50 billion due to its importance to the entire nation; even that of Airport road. many SW roads are not included, eg very bad Akure-Ado road, etc

first and foremost Enugu abakiliki rd is completed ask those who know the rd..secondly what is allocated to Enugu abakiliki rd is 29m naira for some unclear reasons

Secondly listing 2nd niger bridge as a se project is a bit of a misnomer simply because it a bridge that connects ss (asaba) to se (Enugu) as both ends of the bridge is sitting on the land of both zones.however zoning it as se project no problems but it was allocated 17bn...so where is the remaining 10bn that is supposed to make it 29bn allocated to se?
You have raised a valid question

Nnamdi Kanu is SMART.

He is simply waiting for the final verdict from EU and British parliament.

Until then, he is just playing the fool, cooling off in prison.

Once the time is right, the real fireworks will begin.

So don't rejoice yet.

Soon all Yoruba and Hausa scheming and stealing will end permanently.

I kind of like the dedication & commitment on the part of the minister and like he said this his 1st bugdet, let's allow his proposal. My only worry is the SE bugdet which I think may require a closer look to ensure we ease the pain of the road users over there.

So where is the money coming from?

Nigeria is a lazy ass country filled with civil servant who depend on salary coming from cruel oil sales.

Nobody produces anything worth exporting and the Government is not encouraging anyone or are simply clueless

Shut ya gob, illiterate slob.

Most of the oil is offshore and if the SW were to be a separate country, at least 50% of the oil should be in its territorial waters. Coupled with the fact that Lagos generates more revenue for the FG than most of the oil producing states.

And when you add the unnecessary stress you lot put on the non-existent infrastructures in the SW cos everyone and his mum wants to live in Lagos - SW deserves 80% of the darn budget. If you don't like it - go jump in the Lagos lagoon lol.

You get 30% for doing nothing from oil.

How many people live in Lagos alone? Who are those dominating Apapa, Festac, Mile 2? The government has considered those guys migrating from the East to Lagos. This budget is on point.

Wailers, go and sleep.

If Yoruba has oil as you claim, them why are you forcing everyone to be in the same country with you.

Admit it, without the oil sales from the SE and SS, hungry will kill your lazy ass party loving tribe.

At least second Nigeria bridge would actually be done
It will only be done or constructed on paper.

Stop giving yourself fals hopes.

You should have asked yourself: Is it the first or second time money is been earmarked for the construction of Second Niger Bridge.

Obasanjo budgeted money for it.

Yar'adua did same.

Jonathan did same.

Now Buhari is also doing same thing.

I laughed in Swahili.
