Erstwhile Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Tuesday, expressed deep concern that his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), needs prayers.

Fani-Kayode’s statement may not be unconnected to reports that the party’s caucus chose former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff, as its acting national chairman, pending when the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), will ratify his appointment.

Fani-Kayode who took to his Twitter handle @@realFFK to express his concern said: “Given today’s events it is clear to me that, more than at any other time in its 16 years in existence, the PDP needs serious prayers.”

However, reports emerged Tuesday evening that Sheriff’s emergence as Acting chairman of the party has been rejected by the PDP BoT.

Its more sensible to chanel prayers to ones life rather than waisting time and energy on any political party.

Prayers can no longer save PDP. The party's problems are beyond prayers. The presidency was the cord holding the party together and with its loss to APC, the centre can no longer hold again. Things have fallen apart beyond repair for the party.

PDP should contact Bafarrawa and Oritsejafor asap.
One representing the Muslim community while the other represent the Christian community, but my fear is that their problem maybe beyond redemption with SAS.

They should just accept their leaders played on their sentiments & deep seated bias & now it's all for nought .

Wailers sef.... Pdp finally have a man who can deliver them from their financial woes which is their primary intent over & above the party's long dying integrity. I would love to see how the mouths of wailers dance the macaba dance anytime bokoharam attacks henceforth.

When will this PDP crisis end? I already know the new president wont last after seeing the reactions from many Nigerians. I am not PDP/APC but i want a strong opposition that can put APC on their toes. Hence i will recommend Fayose for Chairman, Ben Bruce for Publicity Secretary. And those clamouring for Ribadu, the guy is not too politically experienced.

FFK is on point, of all people pdp chose Ali Modu Sheriff as it's party chairman. I can't imagine how their supporters will be feeling right now.
