If you hope to buy parts yourself or to communicate effectively with your Kaz you will need this dictionary  . The day I went to a local parts market asking for O-ring I nearly slept there  until one understood what I was describing and told me its called "seal" here  This is sometimes make specific. o-ring - seal iVTEC oil pressure switch - Firing sensor (For Honda's) Ball joint - Bow joint Catalytic converter - Indomie, cocaine etc Feel free to add to the list. 9 Likes 3 Shares |

Clutch friction - fibre. I will never forget the response Americans gave me when I said my transmission 'fibre' was replaced. Omo come and see - 'Is that an enhancement part?' 'What's that?' But really technological advancements have actually brought about the change in the name of various parts, then also country of origin. Back in school, I was thought to label the Track Rod End as Tie Rod, and some other similar misconceptions. Recent studies and research made me aware of the either new name or correct name. Had this Dictionary (can't remember the name) which had the picture of an automobile. The glove compartment ( British) was also label Pigeon Hole ( American) or vice-versa. But truth is while dealing in the local parts market, knowing some of these weird or archaic terms helps a lot. 14 Likes 3 Shares |

Another name for name iVTEC Oil pressure switch by Kazeems is "Raising Sensor" aka Firing sensor I've learnt to either go with the part I'm looking for, or snap a picture of it with my phone 3 Likes 1 Share |
