did you read where she said the ministry was suffering when she came in ? No finance to do some certain things, Ok read again..

with such a long articles, you want her to starts telling you what she has done so far for the past 2years and 6month of her stays in NCWD? Meanwhile some useless women from the west and north were there to collects their salaries and show up for work or arrive to work by 11:00am,only to leave before 3pm in the afternoon and she tried her possible best to put a stopped to it and they reported her to their tribalist president. Hence her sack or one of the reasons to her sack.
The person who interview her did not called her to questions her about what she has achieved so far in NCWD. they wanted to know what prompted her sack.

Ndi ara nairalanders stops being sentimental..
She had the option of taking disciplinary measures against the 'useless women' while she was still in the saddle as DG. sad Why didn't she do so at that time, and make it public? shocked It is after she has now been sacked, that she is just crying that her tenure was marked by tribalism. Abeg, make she swerve commot, make person see road! mtcheew..

Some people are locked in perpetual victimhood. I mean, weren't people from other ethnicities fired too?

While she has a point about tribal nepotism which is very common in all parts of Nigeria, she polluted everything by making it all about herself and her ethnicity. What did she even achieve in all the years that she was in charge?

In saner climes, she would have voluntarily resigned her position after PMB won the elections seeing as she was part of the campaign team that was gallivanting about insulting him. How does she expect to continue to work with someone she so vigorously campaigned against even to the point of outright abuse. IMO, Buhari has been extremely magnanimous to have kept someone like her up to this moment.

Hold on! What you quoted are challenges she confronted and overcom in the process of doing her job. The job specifics is empowerment of women. what was her achievement in that area?

Mummy Onyeka, ordinarily you belong in the class of King Sunny Ade, Oliver de coque, Ebenezer Obey, etc. Because truly you are a veteran in the industry but unfortunately today, due to your greed and wanton desire for easy wealth, you have sold your integrity to the highest bidder and lost all respect that should be accorded a woman of your calibre. Today, I wouldn't even place you in the class of people like Vic-O, because at least, those people have something they stand for, for you madam, I'm yet to see exactly what your values are.

From supporting Babangida's tyrranical rule, to spearheading Abacha's "President for life" ambition, to licking Obasanjo's butt, Yaradua didn't have your time but you eventually wriggled your way into power again with GEJ and carried his failed reelection bid on your head like a pure water seller.

Right now you should just bow your head in shame please, and stop trying to whip up tribal sentiments because you lost a job given to you as compensation. Because if I ask you now, since you got into office, how have you been able to touch the life of the average Nigerian? You go dey look me like luqmon.

Please be gone! Nothing you or say willbchange the fact that you were disgraced out of office.

I bet you did not read the write up, typical Nigerian. It's well known that people up north see Nigeria as their property but contribute nothing towards her advancement but shame, anarchy, bokoharam, sharia, poverty, disease and lastly Buhari.

Dirts and Poisons like you weigh Nigeria down...Believe me, if not for tribal sentiments against Igbo, you won't be convulsing here without checking or understanding the merit of her case...
I'd pick a BUHARI 100 times ahead of a drunken Jonathan. The shallow-mindedness bigotry typical of your people guide the choice you make as regards any Candidate in an election.

Where I come from, we are objective in our choices. We voted abiola ahead of Bashir Tofa , voted obj in 1999 and 2003. We voted Gej too. Maybe you want us to believe the votes that brought Gej into office only came for the ss SE. If my voting BUHARI defines me as a tribalist, then what does voting Gej say about you?

That woman should just shut her vuvuzela and her legs. She was appointed in the first place because she is Ibo.
If she is broke already, she should pick up her microphone and sing again.
Government job no be family business.
Why is she sulking all over the place?

1)Where do u come from? Be specific!!! let's examine their voting pattern here publicly...vis a vis Igbo

2)I am Igbo and proud of it...Igbo typifies nationalistic spirit outside the hypocrisy and vain speeches without action of you lot...NO TRIBE IS AS DETRIBALIZED AS IGBO.

3)Buhari is a sectional lord and proponent of sectional cum religious supremacy... People follow him for diverse reasons chief among which is religious and tribal...Caseless follow for him because of the latter too...

Again where are you fromhuh

I understand why she felt she was targeted because is Igbo. But what would have made her complaints credible is to tell us her achievement for the past 2 and half years that she was DG of NCWD.

she should have decorated the whole article with activities she headed to empower women despite all the challenges she faced.
Did you read her post at all? Isn't it clear where she clearly mentioned when the Northerners were referring to her repeatedly as, 'this Ibo woman'. What else again do you need to confirm that the sack was tribally motivated?

I don't think she is bothered about leaving. Rather she is unhappy with the behaviour of certain of the staff under her, who she checkmated their excesses while she was there. And the fact that they banded together under an ethno religious umbrella to antagonise her in an unfair manner because they perceive that 'they are now in charge of the country'.

Nigeria have always been a tribalistic country. I'm concerned that as a woman and as Igbo what did she achieve despite those challenges?

Dora Akinyuli have set the standard for women and particularly for women from Igbo tribe. We are all witness to her achievement as DG of NAFDAC. she worked with the so called backward tribe. She worked and deliver within the same corrupt and tribal sensitive system. She didn't give us any foolish excuses. She delivered and she was celebrated by Nigerians.

Once again, what's her achievement?

What she stated is not far from the truth. Tribalism is a cancer that is malignant in the Nigeria system.

But the crux of the matter is she should have shut her mouth coz its too late and no one will listen or believe you. Onyeka was seen kneeling to greet Buhari, that action alone shows she an AGIP.

This woman has been romancing every government in power bt failed to do same with d present govt and she is wailing more than a wailer after her hailing did not succeed.

If they were chancing you in d agency why didn't you do d honourable and resign.

Make this woman park well.

This is not the question. The fact that she was tribally targeted and ousted is the issue and she has proof of that. The issue here or the cause of her sack is not likely because of under-performance.
