Onyeka Onwenu never said she was sacked because she was Igbo, after reading her original statement, it was clear she never said that, rather it's some stupid Nigerian blogs that twisted the story to suit their ethnic narrative.

Onyeka only said she had subordinates from a certain part of the country who gave her a hard time in the line of her duty because she was Igbo. She wasn't referring to her disengagement.

Don't mind the old woman. Madam Onyeka, you no see me! Instead of honourably stepping aside and encouraging govt to employ the youths to cushion our unemployment situation in Nigeria, you are busy talking tribal trash.

I merely pity my gullible Igbo brothers and sisters who will be deceived by tribal sentiments. Some lecturers cried because their bosses/VCs were fired, but Madam who cried for sack?

Abeg you don chop, allow odaz chop small because na national cake.

U are a big fool freeze.I was born in the north those abokis don't guy about any other tribes but dem self.yes there are good and wonderful hausas but 80% of the abokis are tribalistic.dey would kal d ibos nd other languages inyamiri, and the moment they notice u are about to grow or take the lead in there enviroument they would say semu ne(its how's) they would do everyfin to bring u down.onyeka is a beta nigerian than u ar 100 million times her songs has mend many broken heart.ur own no pass to dey show watch for twitter and instagram like small pikin.
You claim you were born in the north yet you re describing them as 'Abo'kis' (deemed degrading) instead of 'Ba auchi' (more formally used to address northerners) .
inyamiri (in full) its inyamiri baba'n doya: literally means ppl from region that produces Yam : is not a tribalistic word, jst like they call Yorubas Biyarbe(the yoruba speakers).
So what's your argument. Cause I know some cluster communities predominant of Ibo's in kaduna .

The Truth Has Been Said! So Game Over!!! Pls N.Landers Tell Me Just One Of Her Many Positive Impact On The So Called IgboS? Or Her People Not To Talk Of The Human Beings Around Her... TO BE HONEST! If Only 'Buhari' Will Be Sacking And Doing Away With This Kinds Of Persons, Replacing Them With The Right & Competent Once, I Can Stand And Say Loudly That He (Buhari) Regime Will Achieve Better. But Too Bad, The Other Way Round Is The Case For Him... Go & Rest She Woman!!!!!! I vividly recall she was a very vocal participant in the infamous 'Abacha One Million Man March' of 97/98. This infamous One Million March was a campaign that supported Abacha's drive for self-succession into civilian rulership.
Cool FM On-Air Personality, OAP, Freeze has advised Onyeka Onwenu to stop inciting inter-ethnic disaffection.
Onwenu had said, “I was abused, targeted and maltreated for being an Igbo woman.

Just like the igbos ( don't know if you are included ) twisted Buhari's word re the sharia thing right? Just like they did on his statement about Abacha's loot?

Still find it hard to believe she actually said those words honestly. An educated woman like her
You do not know these people. Books cannot help them. No matter how educated they are, they must still exhibit this trait.

Prof Chinua Achebe is arguably the greatest academia from that side. He was also found wanting in this regard. Go read his book: There was a country. Its filled with chest beating, self glorification and victim mentality

That a fatwa was attempted on her says alot. If there be true nationhood in Nigeria, the issues she raised should be objectively investigated.

Was the military called in to rescue her? Many more women face such issues across all the zones in Nigeria. most don't find the courage to speak up cos they would be laughed at.

Until Nigerian starts paying attention and finding lasting solutions to it She will only be postponing dooms day till it all implodes.

I've actively stayed and interacted across all the zones in Nigeria and can tell you Onyeka experiences is real but not limited to northern Nigeria alone.

Hello Freeze, u have earned my full respect as from this day forward.
This is how ignorant and greedy women like the one you have addressed in your message plunge the nation and innocent people into chaos.
Imagine Onyeka who the country has with appoints under Obasanjo, Goodluck coming up to say she was sacked cus she was Igbo just tell me how does that add up.
There is what is called score cards and yours have been assessed and found unattractive hence the reason for letting you go.
So my advise to you is suck it up and move in.
Only a greedy and selfish bitch would say the country hasn't done her fairly.
Gosh, enough of this rubbish.
Freeze God almighty bless and prosper you and add more and more wisdom to you.

It's very common for people to twist words, journalists sensationalise simple statements a lot to attract attention and viewers. If even professional journalists do it, then you can imagine what we should expect from every emeka, adamu and tunde who can just open a silly free blog and start spreading 'news'
