Look at this scenario. You got $300 via western union/moneygram with the intention to make $270 online payment. The bank would not pay you in dollars but in naira... $300x197=59100. That same moment, you make the online payment and that same bank charges your naira mastercard @least N300 per dollar.
Our banks in collabo with the cbn are making 'serious profit' from the current brouhaha.

I paid for a service online two days ago, and was charged 349.99 naira to a dollar by my bank. Access bank to be precise.
Which way Nigeria!

Your own is better,access bank charged me 315naira per dollar while stanbic charged 290...access bank are professional in ripping.. grin
