Awesome news. Leather exports actually do contribute a substantial chunk to the nation's non-oil revenues.

Lalasticlala please put this on frontpage to show that every region has something to offer. The amount of resources the country has both human and natural if harnessed well, can make this country a world power. We don't know the amount of blessings this country has considering the fact that we are not usually plagued with natural disasters like earthquakes, typhoon or extreme weather. I urge Nigerians to sheath their tribal sword of which i have sadly been a part of and let us chart a new course for this country. We all have a common enemy and that is bad leaders so let us channel our energy to bringing them to book.

Please what's her source?

Does she work for LV?

Just because some chick with oyibo name makes a claim doesn't mean I should swallow it hook, line and sinker.

It would be awesome if our tanneries could get back to business. Just yesterday, I was telling my banker about opening form M to import leather. Little did I know that all our leather doesn't disappear as pomo.

Please anyone with the contact for these tanneries, kindly drop it. I need them for various things.

Contact me. Agriculture ti take over

I thought they said the North has nothing to contribute to the GDP

I wonder oo!

If North can offer leather

SE can offer finished goods like cars and shoes

SS can offer gas and oil palm

SW can offer cocoa, rubber.

In few years from now, we ll competing among the biggest economy in the world.

It's time to build our local resources.

They buy the leather cheap from here and make red bottoms that our celebs buy for millions of dollars. Shameless yeyebrities then brag about it in their claim of 'levels' against the average Nigerian. That's colomentality if you ask me.

Or we can start a Nigerian brand that can make good finishing and compete favourably.

Is he subtly saying in the last tweet that Arikair is full of delays??

That's de-marketing at its peak

I believe that statement of hers was actually meant for Mr common sense that is not common to respond to..

As Mr common sense was positing that Arik air are wat wat and should be patronized cos they are indigenously owned..

Truth be told.. I don't see Mr common sense ruling us... As he seems to have forgotten that the streets run things.. Streets no dey fly plane Buh yet we dey fly and we determine who rules us and who doesn't..

We are still complaining bout the globetrotters excesses, who knows what Mr twitter would do if giving the chance to be in the same position..

First of all... I beseech anybody from his (Mr common senses) home community to come forth and beat his chest and say out loud what Mr common sense has done for them or is doing for them...

Cos to me.. All the people we have in positions of power are pure and refined noise makers..

How would someone who just sits in a chair once a week or so, to shout nay and aye only, be earning monies dat they themselves wouldn't allow their respective employees earn for doing same thing they are are doing..

No wonder he has time to be on twitter on a regular.. Disturbing one of our only source of amusement with his rubbish talk..

Truth be told.. Our political leaders are our servants.. . Quote me anywhere..

Are they not been paid by our own monies via tax and wat wat.. And yet we the bosses are still been treated as servants and yet we pay them monthly basic plus allowances...

This country's framework is sick in the head..

Let's tell ourselves the truth cos only then can we be truly free..

Nigerians themselves don't know they are rich. A wise foreign designer will buy this leather put a name on it and will resell to us and we will be feeling fly that we can afford millions of naira worth of a single bag or shoe. (Wisdom)

Recently I heard a Nigerian Oba got raw gold and designed it at a goldsmith at a very affordable price. He refused foreign gold as he was aware that he could get his own designs locally using purer gold.

We need to leave complaints and find solutions. Nigeria is blessed.

This is a lie.
God'sLittle Tannery does not supply LV directly.
GLT supplies agents to LV in Europe.
GLT does not do crust tanning. It doesn't have the capacity to do that.
NASMIER, FATA, MULTITAN, HOLBORN do Crust not GLT.
Contract tanning here and there will not give you LV contract.

So Fulani herdsmen, the real fulani herdsmen are part of the supply chain that eventually ends up supplying Aba shoe and bag factories. Some people need to sit diwn and do some brain work in this country. Nigerians are just being misled by wicked politicians who arm the fake herdsmen and Jonathanian kids who dont see anyhthing good in the north.
