As I thought, this thread was created to ridicule a section of the country. How come banning Biafra is ok but threads that are designed to insult Biafra are allowed? Something is wrong somewhere. The worst thing is that Nigerians who are rejoicing the shooting,killing,illegal arrest and detention of IPOB demonstrators do not realise that they are actually celebrating the bastardisation of the Nigerian constitution. These people do not seem to understand that it could be them out protesting tomorrow about anything from deregulation to increase in prices to economic stagnation. When the constitution gives us all the right to peacefuly demonstrate about anything we may deem important and the Government not only tries to deny people that right but even step it up to shooting them, it is a tragedy. When some people actually go on to celebrate that tragedy, it is pure madness.

I think that IPOB should go back and re strategise on how to continue their constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of protest. They now know that the government of the day really doesn't care about human rights, the rule of law and the sanctity of human life. So instead of IPOB presenting themselves to be used as target practice by an uncaring Government, they should find ways of protesting for whatever they like out of the the view of the guns Nigerian security outfit. I will forever support the fundamental human rights of anyone or any group to peaceful protest.

I remember that YouTube clip.... ...it was in the Igbo congress in America.....that is when I realised as an Nnewi babe that our dilector had lost it... ....he cannot protect himself but wants to protect iPod youths....I once went on those protests....but when the Nigerian army started using our head for target practice....I say mbanu.... ....I ran away even faster than ojukwu took off to Abidjan..
