1) Ex warehouse (our warehouse)
2) Ex Lagos (buyer's designated warehouse)
3) FOB Apapa

We will only take seriously orders in the following steps:
1) a preliminary inquiry.
2) a proforma quotation from our company stating proposed quality, quantity, price, payment and delivery terms.
3) a verifiable order (LPO) stating agreed quality, quantity, price, payment and delivery terms.
4) i) For FOB Apapa, the buyer after LPO opens an irrevocable confirmed L/C at sight (meaning payment occurs upon presentation of documents e.g. bill of lading, SGS certificate etc, not issued at presentation of documents as some think). If in doubt please consult your business lawyer, Google and Wikipedia.
ii) For Ex Lagos: the buyer pays 70% at sight of goods, 30% upon delivery in Lagos.
iii) For Ex warehouse: cash deposit or bank transfer ONLY at sight of goods.

Are you saying you dont sell to local Nigerians. What if I have a contract to service, then I wanna buy from you, my destination is Apapa, surely the port and settle the rest from there by myself.

Would you not be doing a business like this?

If no, no issues. But if yes, how much will you be selling 1MT. What's you transport arrangement like and what are your other terms. Minimum buy at a go will be 23 to 25 MT. You can reply here or we take it private if you want.

@larion.. thanks for your interest. We are end suppliers and exporters ourselves. We deliver FOB APAPA, EX WAREHOUSE and EX LAGOS. If you have an export supply contract, you can opt for EX WAREHOUSE and EX LAGOS. The suitable payment term and delivery conditions will apply on and as at when due. This implies that we will not accept any credit instruments from you, namely BG, L/C, APG etc.

We ONLY accept L/C for our FOB deals, which is the standard for international business. But locally, buyers should do their due diligence financially. We can not sell on credit goods we paid raw cash to stockpile.

When we deliver FOB our shipper sends trucks and containers to us. We containerize the cashews straight from our warehouse. SGS seals the containers. But if we are delivering EX LAGOS, you have the option of bringing your trucks or we can provide at your expense.
