If Okonjo were Joseph, she would have saved for the raining days perhaps we could have escaped the famine. But Okonjo saw nothing, knew nothing and dreamt nothing. She only helped to destroy the economy and helped to fulfill the dreams of the looters through her mastery in paper works to cover the loots. What a shame if we have her back again. Note: Okonjo under OBJ is different from Okonjo under GEJ. the difference is clear. ![]() |

DropShot:So if we take your words that, the President was/is sincere and only got to know about the padding in the budget now and the issue has been corrected plus, according to you; heads has rolled and more will rolled, then why is it that when the budget was returned, it still had the original figures as total. Common sense will tell everyone that, if Nkechi put pads in her booby which make then size 30 and she excuse herself to go in private to remove paddingd the size should go down....I guess if Nkechi reappear and her booby is still size 30, people like you will believe that, she has actually removed the paddings. |

In my very humble opinion, i think the average Nigerian (Including myself) is a simpleton. Here's why: 2 to 3 months ago, banks refused to receive dollar deposits. The excuse then was that there was excess dollar liquidity in the system. Banks were even claiming that their vaults were filled with dollars. Naira even appreciated. Presently we are experiencing dollar shortage. Naira will soon hit 500. The excuse we are given is the oil price. But nobody is asking how we went from excess dollars to no dollars within a very short timeframe. . How did all the dollars evaporate? I think something else is responsible for this dollar hike. All we are hearing is oil price fall and i'm not buying into that BS. Pls someone should enlighten me oh. |

DropShot:before calling Femi an "old fool", maybe you need to have yourself examined because if you were making good use of your eyes and common sense, you would DEFINITELY have seen in this same write-up you condemn, where he addressed the same issues you are now saying he didn't think about before calling for Okonjo-Iweala's return. He clearly detailed how Okonjo-Iweala was bent on having Nigeria save for the rainy day by introducing the Excess crude account, and creation of a sovereign wealth fund, but she was forced to abandon the proposal when the state Governors led by APC's Adams Oshiomhole armtwisted her with court orders to share all the proceeds in the excess crude account to the states for spending rather than have the money saved as she had planned. My friend read before you comment and stop publicizing your brazen ignorance when knowledge is right before your screen! |
