Commiserating hurts, not love but you could instead take pleasure in uplifting them instead of being hurt because they are hurt, which won't help.



I don't. I understand that craziness is part of growing up.



I do not discipline my children in a way that hurts me.




I rarely argue with my loved ones and when I do, I do it in a way that is not harmful or disrespectful.



Maybe, so what?



I do not need pain to feel alive and I enjoy flying high.



Love does not hurt. Love feels good. You cannot feel love and pain at the same time.

I saw the thread earlier, and didn't post a reply, because I wanted to be sure that when I allude to being an unconditional lover; it'd be nothing short of the truth.

I can. I do love unconditionally.
Especially to folks who aren't related by blood.

I have found though that it is not a "feat" one can achieve when tuned to a particular frequency/vibration.

For you to be a true unconditional lover, you must ascend, you must be renewed. One must Rise Above.

When people say true love don't exist, I think they are being truthful because, usually, at the frequency we operate, LOVE is a tad alien. It is usually tit for tat. While I agree that there's love in "tit for tat" I'm of the opinion that it is a tainted form.

To practice true love in its realest form, you must become God.
Not "Like God" Not "A God" but BE God.

Looking at the text above alone could make one feel heretic, but sometimes, in order to handle certain relational issues well, we need to become God.

So I declared today in my place of meditation...
"There is no distinction between my humanity and Divinity. I am God. Therefore I am incapable of bitterness, of hate and every form of negativity.
I breath love, I breath grace, and everything that is worthy and lovely to my world.
I have the capacity to be and be being...

These words transformed my day. Being human, I lived my God essence today, and it only gets better from here on

What does unconditional love mean to you?

Yes, I love my fiance unconditionally. SOmetimes he lies to me a lot and sometimes makes the dumbest decisions but in my heart, I cannot hate him. He has unrealistic expectations of love in that he assumes that I am to give him money whenever he asks without question and hesitation. We argue but at the end of the day, I continue to pray for God to give him love in his heart and wisdom and understanding in things. It really hurts to truly love someone and to wonder if they can ever really love you back the way that you love them.

Love hurts all the time. When you love someone, you even hurt just when you see them hurt. You hurt when you see your kids doing craziness. It hurts when you discipline your kids. It hurts when you argue with a loved one. To always expect happiness is unrealistic. Hurting is how we know that we are alive otherwise we are merely high on whatever life even, high on whatever drug, high on whatever temporary, fleeting feeling that satiates our feelings. Love hurts, growing hurts, being strong hurts. Losing hurts, winning hurts. Does the hurt go to abuse? No. Does the hurt last continually? No.
